Honestly they are absolute idiots in there. Stopped me buying a product off of the shelf that had no restrictions and didn't need a prescription. What a joke went to Methley and just bought it no questions. Won't be going back ever again.

A terrible pharmacy, incompetent and time wasting. I had to change getting my precipitation from this pharmacy because they continued to not supply my correct prescription!! I would not recommend this pharmacy.

?? I had a disappointing experience at Wells Pharmacy (Castleford), where I was refused Migralieve based on completely inaccurate information ? including the claim that it contained the same ingredients as Sumatriptan. Despite no clinical interaction between the two, the pharmacist doubled down on this misinformation rather than provide evidence-based advice.
The handling of my concern felt dismissive and defensive, prioritising internal policy over patient care. Looking at other reviews, it?s clear my experience wasn?t unique. I?ve lost trust in this branch?s ability to offer safe, professional service and will be encouraging others to report similar incidents to the GPhC.

Staff are rude and offhand when answering even the most basic of questions. Prescriptions rarely ready within a couple of days as they never seem to have stock of anything. Have now asked to change pharmacy for my elderly relatives prescription due to this issue.

Never had a problem getting medication, yes there's usually a wait, but they are dealing with more than customers in shop.

Only go here for prescription and they always text me when it is ready.
Can be busy at times and means waiting but a pretty well stocked little pharmacy.
Free parking and directly next to GP surgery.

I don?t usually do reviews as they can be very subjective. I am shocked at the behaviour of a couple of staff that work in Well Pharmacy.
I picked a prescription up for my mum as she had spinal surgery with complications. They told me they didn?t have it. The doctors issued a new prescription, only to find hers had been sat on the shelf for three days. As I was waiting for the second prescription the assistant passed it to the dispenser, who very loudly said ?I can?t stand that woman. She never waits for her text to come, she is horrible?. She shouted out to my mum on another occasion ?she is going to kill her dog? after over hearing a conversation she was having with a member of the public.
I have been told to go home and wait for a text and that it takes 48Hr for them to receive the script and 48Hrs to dispense it. This system is not working as when I got my medication, it had been on the shelf again for 4 days.
Again, I have been for medication this morning and they were talking about myself behind the counter. I was not rude but I was assistive and ask them to reframe from talking about myself behind the counter.
I am a trained member of staff that works for the trust and understands the pressure. I would not speak to anyone in that manner.

Waited in for 2 days for my prescription to be delivered. Never came. Went to chemist and was told I have been taken off delivery because I missed one call, even though they did not let me know that this was the case. The pharmacist was very rude so I told her I would go to another.chemist. Her answer was for me to go to another. What's happened to the days where people were polite and cared? Will never ever go there again.

Staff are rude. Called my partner ?entitled? for them being unable to fulfil a prescription ordered a week and a half beforehand. We explained that we would have no medication for the weekend or bank holiday and she called him ?entitled? for politely requesting for my required medication, so I don?t have painful muscle spasms.
The next set of medication picked up was also ordered a week beforehand and apparently they?ve just spoken to my partner like he should have known better, despite no communication from pharmacy to actual customers or from Riverside. Absolutely dreadful service to be honest, folk there should find jobs where they don?t actually have to interact with human beings.

Wouldn?t even give them one star just been in to get some piriton cos my 9 month old baby is having an allergic reaction to eggs my doctors have said that is what I have to give him and this pharmacy turned around and said I can?t sell you it doctors don?t know what their talking about !!! His neck arms and face swells and he hives up

Shocking pharmacy, sometimes takes them 3-4 days to fulfill scripts, to make matters worse is the lack of communication and attitude of staff.

Worst pharmacy ever
My prescription was sent to them since May, no call from them to say medication is ready, nothing from them, after days I called them which took ages for them to pick up and after picking up I was told the prescription was sent back to my GP. Immediately after the call I cancelled them as my nominated pharmacy. I can not stick to people who don't care about life.
Castleford pharmacy always call me whenever they receive my prescription and I have never stress myself about prescriptions.
I choose well pharmacy because they have parking space but am not bothered anymore about parking space.
Am done.
