Thought I'd call and have lunch in the cafe , wish I hadn't now ordered fish and chips the fish was like a stickleback with about 10 chips and the mush peas well think they were just pea juice and to top it off none of the hit drinks machines were working as were both doing self cleans...........:::::::::

This morning I went to glasshoughton to purchase a photo cake for my mother's 90th birthday tomorrow, and I was having difficulty transferring the photo from my phone on to the machine.
Anyway, I spoke to a lovely man in the bakery dept....I didn't get his name, but he certainly needs a mention. He helped me solve my problem and I am extremely happy with the cake
I cannot thank this man enough, he was so helpful and pleasant...
He took the time to help me and really needs recognition, for his fantastic customer service
He is a credit to glasshoughton branch!!!

Absolutely shocking service from Debbie on the till. Was more concerned with chatting about holidays with someone who I presume was coming onto the till than actually serving. Any staff member that walked by was interrupting as well. It's about time standards improved in this place. Instead of 'hello, how are you' type of service, its more of ' have you got a reward card'.......

Went to return a parcel at opening time 6am could not do it as returns not accepted before 8am was not happy because I went at opening time to avoid traffic around and in Asda carpark also it doesn't mention on my Asda app about opening time for returns so I assume it was ok to go at that time to say am not pleased is understatement

Poor! These guys don't seem to understand that you need to restock shelves (a problem for the last 5 year or so). Had enough of this poor excuse for a shop, won't be going again. Some might say, YOU NEED NEW MANAGEMENT AT YOUR GLASSHOUGHTON STORE, HE/SHE IS GIVING ASDA A BAD NAME!

Well.the attitude of the cafe staff wasn't very welcoming to say the least ,they were very abrupt and when ordering asked if you'd like items such as toast without explaining it cost more the same with the deal that includes a hot or cold drink but a latte has a 65p upgrade charge, upon sitting down waiting for the food mine arrived even though I'd ordered after my friend,to be fair the food was really nice but very small and when I said that I didn't like tomatoes so could I have more beans instead please the lady growled no swapping ,I suggested some extra beans she snapped you already get beans !! I gave up ?after eating over half my miniscule vegetarian breakfast my friends breakfast bap still hadn't appeared when he eventually asked about it she screeched ill check !! It appeared about 5-10 mins later ,it was also really really small ,probably wouldn't go again tbh
