Excellent food including breakfast & the staff were really helpful BUT management need to be more aware of what staff are past over information wise or staff need to take more notice as 2 different members of staff knew nothing about the wedding going on & that some guests would be ordering food & drink pre paid for, I was also told what the bill was when all I had asked for were my drinks? Not that I'd come to settle the bill, very confusing & also stressful as I'd then been working for quite some time & simply wanted to go to bed.
I was there for the wedding but as I was also working I had phoned the previous day to confirm I'd be there from 10.45am & would the room be ready, I was assured yes & due to circumstances I impressed on it or I could have travelled a little later. The room wasn't ready so my job was already made very difficult, around 1/2 an hour later I was asked if I wanted another room to be made up, I confirmed it was big enough to take a travel cot, I was assured yes but it wasn't, at least not for myself & my guest to be able to move easily between the tiny en suite & the bedroom & us also having a case & rucksacks & being able to easily open & close the window. There was also a portable heater as well as a fixed wall heater in the room so assumably the fixed heater needed a plumber? I couldn't move the portable as the travel cot was up & in use, very annoying.
The tap was also fixed back to front so H was actually cold & C was hot, I was also sober just in case anyone reading was wondering.
This was room 2, the mattress needs urgently replacing & a mirror needs fitting in the bathroom.
Food and drinks: I past my compliments over to the bar staff for the chef.

Called in for lunch at this superb location overlooking Cromwell Lake.
Just a few minutes from the centre of Brighouse towards Elland, but seems a world away with the view over the water.
Service was good and the food excellent.
Not the first time we've been here and won't be the last.

Food was excellent. Three of us ate there, was given a fantastic table in the window,
We all had starters and we had the Classic Steak on the Rock, its a real dining experience rather than just a meal.
James and Josh run the restaurant like clockwork and don't rush you to finish your meals either. Go, Eat, Enjoy ?
Parking: A carpark at the venue plus an overflow car park opposite the venue.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking straight outside the main entrance with a ramp straight to the door ,
Best to phone ahead as they have multiple entry points too?

We had our wedding reception here, all staff were magnificent ?? couldn't fault them. The scenes of the lake really made it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you
Rooms: The venetian blinds let a bit too much light in, even with an eye mask on. Other than that, very happy
