Went Sunday with my family (Jane Keiss) we had the beef dinner and it was delicious the only thing I would say is to much salt in the Yorkshire puddings but other than that 100% perfect. Great variety of veg , potatoes and plenty of beef . What you don?t eat they will gladly rub up for you to take home. . The staff are all amazing and go above and beyond to make your visit special. Definitely will go again plus they have a food loyalty scheme so winner winner delicious beef dinner ?

Would like to say a big thank you to the Woodlands Hotel & Pub management for saving our Christmas day by providing myself and my husband with turkey/stuffing/ pigs in blankets after the turkey we bought had gone off! My daughter rang and explained what had happened and they didn't hesitate to offer their help - the spirit of Christmas is very much alive.

We went Christmas eve, the meal was absolutely gorgeous, one of the nicest meals I have had in a very long time. The staff could not do enough for you and were very courteous. If you have not eaten here you are missing out! We will definitely be back soon. This is the best restaurant we have eaten at this year. Well done to the chefs and staff. Amazing!

Great food, prompt service but music way way too loud drowning out any possible conversation. Glad we'd almost finished our meal before music started as we were glad to leave. Wouldn't visit again if music on. Already really noisy in dining area which was problematic to start with and volume level of music actually really uncomfortable. Shame.

Tasty food was beautifully cooked and presented ... Fish and chips Steak pie with chips Burger with fries ... All with accompaniments Risotto Desserts were lovely Lovely restaurant area ... very busy ... Only downside for us was the entertainment - great vocals but just way too loud right next to the restaurant area... would've stayed for more drinks but couldn't hear ourselves think ... apart from that - great evening with lovely food and thank you to the fabulous staff... ?

Lovely food and service couldn?t do enough for us. We went on Friday fish and chips special it was so fresh and light the gammon was large and cooked to perfection with an abundance of trimmings.

We had been for a walk and called in for a spot of lunch .. .the lady behind the bar was lovely and friendly we both opted for a hot beef sandwich and chips ...it was beautiful ?plenty of it and tasty ..we will definitely go back ..

Food is so good . Been for sunday lunch saturday burgers curry night and steak . The food and service is so good went for christmas lunch which was amazing .Also ita a real friendy pub i would recomend giving the pub i go . You will not be disapionted

Great surroundings and warm environment. Service is friendly yet doesn?t lose professionalism. Starter came about 5 minutes after ordering and was superb. Main course less than 10 minutes after finishing starters. All food well presented and piping hot. And we had to ask for what we couldn?t finish to be boxed up!! More than reasonable price for an exceptional dining experience! We?ll be back!!
