The staff were friendly and food was nice, but there was a power cut in the morning (or a fuse blow) the power and lights went out... which was actually very dangerous as I was in the shower when this happened, with no windows in the shower room it went pitch black... I or people in other rooms could have hit their heads or tripped over etc.... not good at all!! I told the staff member who was at checked out.... only received only a "oh sorry.. that's not good" comment.

Paid cheap rate which set alarm bells off in what kind of hotel this is. Wasn't disappointed. Plenty of parking. Lovely reception area. Room was spacious indeed, small double bed but was very comfy as well as pillows. The air con/ heater system was amazing, loved it, could set temperature to whatever you like. Piping hot shower which was gorgeous.Needs a retouch of paint in bathroom where damp / mold on upper walls, a working hairdryer, needs slightly updating, a better kettle. But slept really well, i wear ear defenders but was comfy and warm.Defo coming here again. Lovely indeed.

Tricky one to rate - the building was obviously once very grand but like so many hotels is looking slightly dated . Our room was very spacious but had absolutely no information pack at all which we found strange . We ate in the restaurant which was very nice , we both had sirloin steak but was spoilt with the chips which were frozen oven chips - some nice home made chips would have been much better . Some of the staff appeared to be new with very little knowledge which is fine as we all have to start but seemed to have no one to get information from . Overall would return but could be so much better .

Nice hotel, lovely helpful staff. Was conveniently located for us, but could be out of the way depending on where you're going. The breakfast was not as high quality as previous stays before the remodeling but otherwise nothing bad to say.Look for deals in advance for great value.

What you see on the website is totally misleading.Was expecting a modern room and got a very outdated room that had seen better days!!Staff need to engage with their customers as the hotel has a lot of potential due to its location and what it could offer.Breakfast was another let down, left to own devices, no explanation of anything. Do not have the cooked breakfast..very poor quality.Would definitely not stop here again.

Really nice place to stop overnight for work and had all the amenities including a large car park also suitable for larger vehicles. Breakfast was pricey to add on so can't comment on it.

Really nice venue, nice outdoor area and good function room, shame about the bar having nothing on draught.Food & drinks: Bar is expensive and only serves bottles even though several taps on bar tops

Stayed here one night evening meal a big disappointment not much joice, curry, yuk, burger and chips, no, and a dish with veg covered in melted cheese with fries, which was our meal it wasn't pleasant at all big chunks of veg stalks some not cooked properly also luke warm we left half of it. But the breakfast was fabulous, although again only luke warm, wish they put a bit more thought into their evening meal as they obviously do with their breakfast.

What a find. Lovely, helpful, sensitive staff who were so keen to assist in any way they could. Lovely food, prepared beautifully.The mattress was a little soft for me, or it would've been 5 stars all the way.

A very cosy hotel with great views, friendly staff, and lots to do. I really enjoyed my stay here and will stay again the next time I'm in Leeds. Room has AC so you can set to your ideal temperature.
