Called here first thing this Saturday morning expecting good things after somebody's recent YouTube video.
Cold water with lemon was brought to the table immediately which was a nice touch. Cappuccino and Americano followed and was ok.
Upon ordering the breakfast they said that they couldn't swap items but could takeaway and add items....not sure of the difference or how that works.
The table was sticky and badly designed as the gaps were full of old food.
The omelette was average at best.
The English breakfast had strange tepid sausages that were heavily processed and flavourless, the fried eggs were overdone and the yolks hard, bacon, tomato and mushroom good, beans good though near cold and the hash brown raw and cold in the middle. The white toast was rock hard and barely edible.
No check back, the singular lass who was running the show probably didn't have the time.
After a while, and the table still not cleared, I approached the counter to pay. I wasn't asked how our meal had been, but I was asked if I would like to leave a tip!
An extremely disappointing experience.

Poor quality, tasteless food served by rude people. Place was not at all clean, toilets disgusting. Just got back from holiday hence several reviews in one day, is that good enough for the rude owners of this dump.please avoid at all costs, many good cafes in the area to use

A little disappointed with my sandwich and it ended up quite expensive for what I got. No take away menus and it took awhile to come. Pastries looked good

Absolutely beautiful breakfast even got a few pies from the bakery and they are stunning will definitely be visiting again.

I've just been in and bought 2 sandwiches ( 1x cheese and caramalised onion) 1 x chicken salad.
The young lady who served us was lovely.
Unfortunately, the cheese sandwich is inedible, it's consists of 2 pieces of packet, sliced cheese and the breadcake is hardly fresh. The chicken salad was better but again, the breadcake didn't appear fresh!
The brownie was delicious but again, unfortunately, rather stale.
Sandwiches were advertised at £3 each. We also ordered a brownie. The total was £12.50.
I really don't think the order was worth what we paid.

I recently enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at Idle Bakery and Café with my mum, and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and beautifully presented, and the tea was perfectly brewed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly and attentive, they really made the experience special.

Ordered many BLT sandwiches over the phone as service is quite slow ,collected one today the bread was warm the lettuce was warm and the tomato was warm when I rang to complain the manager was very patronising won?t be going again

Homely feel, service was warm friendly and professional. Food was good and we liked the Polish quadrant of the menu. Thank you! We just wish there were some more vegan options

We traveled from York a very extensive time traveling to get there because of the nature of the roads -was it worth it? Yes, although we only had 15 minutes to go to closing
Time , absolute hidden gem.
Next time, just hope to get there soon enough for the café side as well .
I hope you?ve stuck with me this far , because this is when we get to the incredible steak and Stilton pie without doubt the best steak pie I?ve ever eaten the Stilton was fantastic , integrated into the pie. It was both visually and taste wise immaculate. .
The other cakes were nice too .

Ordered a sandwich, didn?t ask if we wanted butter, we would of said no. The butter was thicker than the amount of tuna. Awful sandwich. Chocolate orange brownie was a lovely texture but the actual taste of chocolate was none existent!! Not great!!!!
