Popping to the corner shop for Nomo Cookie Dough Chocolate was previously all the joy a vegan needed in life, but now Tesco Express stopped stocking it my trips here have not been the same. The dairy-free chocolate selection now consists of three types of fancy bitter dark chocolate, and about 4 of the world's worst value, impossibly small chocolate bars. There is however the most enormous selection of omni chocolate.
Biscuits wise you've got about three types to choose from. The crisp selection is better, and they have a vegan cheese, if that's your thing. Two types of vegan sausage and some tofu, which is better than the Co-op. No soya yoghurt though, and they only have the rubbish ham (vegan Quorn).
3 stars because the staff are very nice and the petrol is cheap-ish.

If I could give lower I would , worse store ever for ignorant horrible customer service all but one or two are so rude , have a que yet stand there talking to each other looking at one another phones regarding a recent holiday ? Surely that can be done during their break. The older lady short curly hair n glasses is the worse snaps , holds hand out without even saying a total plus whole place stinks

I've been buying petrol here since it opened. I was told tonight for the first time by some ignorant woman over a tannoy, that I had to remove my bike helmet.I've never been asked to do that before so why now? I won't be returning for petrol ever again, £200 a month I normally spend there on fuel.I'd echo all the other 1 star reviews that complain about rude staff and huge queues too.

Our car broke down on Saturday, just up the road from Thornton Road Tesco. I was desperate for the loo, went down there & explained. A lovely young lady stacking shelves said it wasn?t a problem but that they only had a staff toilet. The manager was very kind & made us 2 teas, inviting us back if there was anything else we needed, (my husband was the next toilet visitor!)I did shop too, but this was afterwards, the kindness was just human & genuine when I was stressed.I would like to nominate the staff here for a KINDNESS AWARD

The worst customer service.. to go in store to be thrown your items at you through the checkout, told I don't drive your car how do I know what pump it is, to be told to go to the back of the queue like a naughty school child which myself and the other customers waiting were as confused as I was. Utter vile behaviour from one of the new staff there. All these people out of work due to the pandemic and that is the person of choice the manager chose for the job says everything about this store.

Not a good store . Most of the staff are ignorant and appear to have more pressing matters than looking after the customer . Maybe a new manager who knows how to manage poor staff would help.If this store is representative of Tesco they should sell out to Morrisons and let a proper company run its outlet's .

Awful store and management. Staff are all chavs with no customer service service skills.I've heard Staff using abusive language towards customers and ignoring customers while they're waiting to be served. It's almost like they are doing you a favour be doing their job. I wouldn't use this store again.Chris the store manager doesn't care. One of the Staff looks and acts like she is on drugs all the time and will go out of her way for male customers but ignores female customers.Trash store and service.Will stick with Asda & Morrisons.
