I have worked here for the last 5 weeks and have only missed 1 day off as I have diabetes and had serious chest pain and weren?t able to go in I sent a message to the work group explaining and even rang the Store number numerous times I was hard working and respectful and perlite and didn?t act inappropriately or with any attitude or violence but I have been terminated from my contract before i shift ended without any notice there is no reason for them to terminate me on my shift without notice if I haven?t been violent or even stole or been disrespectful if I could give them no stars I would because I know it?s uncalled for and believe it?s racism I?m a 22 year old black mixed race man and the only one who worked there and cause I missed one day they wanted to pick that as a reason when there are multiple people that work there and miss days and be inappropriate over mic and hide stuff before other stock and just be unprofessional but I?ve been terminated because I missed a day off with a valid reason it doesn?t make sense and is out of order

Great store but terrible service. Nobody seems to be in charge with only one person on the till at a snails pace. Nobody at the customer service just young kids employed to make sure the sheves are straight. This is the worse run Smyths I've been to.

Have tried to contact the Bradford store by telephone, to resolve an issue, but unable to get a response to be answered. Tried the three Leeds stores to help resolve the issue & they don't answer either perhaps it's company policy not to answer the phone to the public. .

The shop floor assistant Joanne is the rudest worker I have every had the misfortune of meeting. She shouted at me today when I was trying something on my buggy with my new born in the pram. Absolutely appalled at her disgusting customer service ! She should not be working in a child?s store!! Thank you to the manager who shut her up!

Went to smyths toy store today in Bradford on canal road with my daughter as she likes shopping there for her toys as soon as we walked in the security guard made us feel very uncomfortable every isle we went to check for toys we was getting followed and peeped at I personally think no human being or customer if you want to call it should feel uncomfortable once we got to the counter I explained my experience to a staff member she wasn?t very helpful or professional she turned around and goes ?? that?s what he has been told to do so out off every other 100 customer I was the one that got followed peeped at in every isle and felt uncomfortable then she goes I will pass your feed back to the manager ?? every staff member in there is soo miserable like they getting forced to come to work they have no customer service experience or how to deal with a complaint won?t be going back in this store very rude staff with attitude appalling for such a store to have staff members like this it just takes one bad person or bad experience for a customer to stop going won?t be coming here again

DONT EVER BUY FROM SMYTHES !!! customer service skills are zero .. products they sell are useless .. flimsy and when you try ring to use warranty/guarantee you won't get nowhere with them .. very disappointed by the way we've been dealt with by this major store and would not recommend anyone else to buy from here unless you want to get ripped of that is
