4 of us came on a Tuesday lunchtime to the cafe, we have been before and always enjoyed it ! When we came it was really busy and they had a refurbished cafe since we last came. It was nice and colourful but the seating seems to have reduced not sure what it?s like upstairs as we didn?t go up but where we was sat we felt squashed ! The lady who was serving us was nice but kept telling us she was new and we didn?t need to keep being told but she did a great job. When the food came it came wrong as my mum is Gluten free & when the lady sue who was a different lady to who took the order brought her food out she slammed it down on the table and my mum said I didn?t ask for a toastie I asked for a normal sandwich ? Just to make you aware gluten free bread always has to come toasted ? so we spoke to a manager and we got it sorted my mum recieved a normal sandwich with some complimentary fries ! My jacket potato was nice and so was the others, we won?t be returning as sue was very rude and abrupt and it?s put us off.

The cafe has gone down hill, 20 minutes sat at a table and no one took our order, this is the second time this happened, each staff member had 1 job each - 1 to give a menu another to take an order and another to make the coffee, they stood around confused so the second time we left the cafe - its a shame really, the staff just seem all over the place , no consideration for there customers.

Wow! I called in this afternoon in a frustrated state after a morning of shopping trying to suitable clothes for a special holiday. Was greeted by one of your lovely assistants (Liz) following a brief look around the shop
Then she made several suggestions and was able to over the next hour or so to advise guide suggest various combinations of outfits and accessories much to my delight
I can't praise enough this personal experience and her knowledge of taste and suitability of garments for myself. Liz is a most valuable mber of your staff. A great asset to your business. Jeanette

Plenty of car parking places. Well stocked shop good selection of clothing and accessories. Called at the inside cafe ?? good quick service nice food good atmosphere. Would recommend.

Nice afternoon out to Readman's. Very tasty lunch and purchased a few nice items which were reasonably priced.
Staff are very friendly and I especially want to mention Liz, who could not do enough for us.

I visited on Tuesday looking for a dress for a wedding. Jill was amazing, so helpful and patient, I tried about 10 on! I came away with a lovely dress, sandals, handbag, fascinator and pashmina- all set now! Jill was a brilliant ?personal shopper?- thanks again

Cafe was nice and the coffee was very nice however the grumpy waitress put us off going there again.
