“Attended a wedding here. It was a nice place. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff helpful. They had a good dj for the evening party downstairs. I was drunk for the rest of it.”

“This was my first time and I was very impressed. I’m vegan which was no issue at all. I went with a friend, who’d been many times before. Staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful. Food is excellent, very reasonably priced and very good helpings. We went on a Saturday night, so the place was packed. I would advise to book on the busier nights. I will definitely come back! “Came for afternoon tea this afternoon and was really bowled over at how lovely the hotel was. Its still really grand inside and had a lovely feel to it. The actual afternoon tea was lovely and filling and all the cakes and sandwiches were really tasty. The service was great too, very friendly but also professional.”

“Great location near the city centre, no onsite parking, but car park only 2 mins walk away is only £1.50 for 24 hours.
Bit noisy when we were there due to roadworks.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Shame they couldn't fix our Aircon ?”

Window didn't seal properly so let a lot of external noise in, carpets stained, room smelt of paint. Beds comfortable enough, and bathroom fine. Fine for a short, cheap overnight stay.Location good if you drive.”
