Poor wait times and staff severely overworked, not the staffs fault they are working hard, just not enough people working and they have a new system which is completely pathetic, fix up halifax bank, used to be decent, now it's poor.

It's annoying that you have to wait over 40 mins to take a bigger amount money over the counter they started a system on waiting in a seating que with 1 staff at the counter employ more staffs on the counter there should always be minimum of 2 on the counter and more during busy time HSBC aways have 3 staff on the counter and 2 on the floor helping and couple of Adviser in room

Visited the branch in the afternoon to get some information about my card, spoke to a clerk named Imran as we had a language barrier. However after speaking to him we were treated rudely and dismissively. He did not help with communication or attempt to reach a solution. In turn we were interrupted in trying to convey our problem in which he aggressively held his stance and solution without hearing our problem in the first place. However afterwards we saw him deal with another similar situation, to our language barrier, very differently with other customers.

Warning!!! I got a £20 fake note from the cashier! I trusted her as a bank cashier otherwise would check all 50 notes one by one and causing customers wait longer in the queue. Only realised after tried to put the cash in another bank. Did make a complain to Halifax bank manager but he refused to accept! Saying that you should check your notes by yourself before cashier putting them in an envelope in front of cashier. Been a Halifax customer for over 20 years! I never trust them anymore. They look like a gang to me working together handing fake notes to vulnerable looking people!

Terrible branch. I tried to deposit some money through self service and it swallowed the money and my card whilst displaying 'out of order'. Panicking, I approached a staff member who was not dealing with any customers at the time, it took her 5 minutes to actually bother to look up from her seat. It took a further 30 minutes for her to retrieve the money and card. I cannot explain how unbothered this woman's attitude was. Higher management should visit and make a few redundancies I think. Plenty more people looking for jobs whilst this lazy bunch is faffing around.
