“Thank God for these garages ... but not enough of them.. bring back the local garages selling petrol and bring back the service guy who will ask you how much you would like to put In your car and wipe your windscreen ect. “Iv already rang customer service today. Many thanks for the amazing support today from Donna in store. I honestly really appreciated your help today with my tyre and your machine. If it wasn’t for you I would never had got to my patients. From a very stressed nurse this morning haha. Your one of life’s diamonds and a real credit to Tesco.”

“It's a petrol station. It provides decent petrol at acceptable prices. No card payments at the pump, though if you have the Esso app you can generally pay at the pump through that.”

“Although it can't be helped when paying at pump the staff are pretty awesome. Tis a shame that they take £100 as down payment but then give you the remainder back depending how much fuel you put in....”

“I always end up coming here at silly o' clock and grabbing some Pringles and a drink. There's also a subway inside right next to the door and toilets if you need them. Nice little service station if you can't be arsed going to the tesco up the road.”

“It's an asda petrol station, pay at the pump only.\\nOf all the asda petrol stations I've been to this one seems to have the cleanest pumps, most others your hands ends up smelling of diesel but these are cleaned regularly.”

“Like most petrol stations it's maned by people who are bored just sat there doing a mundane job , it must be hard trying to smile to everyone, I would give them 10 out 10 for doing what's got to be one of the most boring jobs on this planet.”

“Elderly chap on counter very friendly. This store also has coffee machine and photo copier which was very handy on a weekend. Sometimes youth parked up in cars but I presume this is the norm local to this area. How about expanding the station and maybe have a food counter where people can come in and sit down? Just a suggestion”

“As a indipendant permanent wheelchair user I was surprised and very pleased with the petrol station, I had pulled up to the pump and started to get my wheelchair out when the kiosk attendant came out and said if a wait a bit he would fill the car up, so I put my chair back in the car, 5 mins later another bloke came and said he'd fill the car up, which he did, he said the kiosk bloke was very busy, this guy didn't even work for morrisons, after he had finished he got in his van and left, and the kiosk guy came out and took my money, it did take 10-15 minutes altogether but he was kind enough to help me, it was my first time there, and I appreciate the effort he made to help me, well done!.”

“Called late one evening.Had to pay for fuel before filling the tank. Access to kiosks/shop closed at that late hour. Paid through sliding opening/screen. Diesel was much cheaper than another Esso filling station (Rooley Lane) just over a mile away.”

“Nice and convenient. Fuel is mostly comparably cheap to other local garages. Shop includes a bit of everything for convenience with reasonable prices you'd expect from a service station.”

“Our car broke down on Saturday, just up the road from Thornton Road Tesco. I was desperate for the loo, went down there & explained. A lovely young lady stacking shelves said it wasn’t a problem but that they only had a staff toilet. The manager was very kind & made us 2 teas, inviting us back if there was anything else we needed, (my husband was the next toilet visitor!)I did shop too, but this was afterwards, the kindness was just human & genuine when I was stressed.I would like to nominate the staff here for a KINDNESS AWARD”

“A gas station like any other. Fuel is a bit cheaper than on Manchester Road. The station itself is smaller than the one from ManRd, smaller selection of products inside, one person at the cash register. I don't know if and how long you have to wait when there are more customers. I was 3rd in line and it went quite quickly and smoothly. I rather recommend the station.”

“Usually have a good experience. Had the odd few experiences with Shell where there fuel meter is turning (slowly) but no fuel being released. Aside from that, this branch is quite accommodating, especially when I need to go on long journeys.”
