Awful Asda!! Bought various items including fresh Asda donuts. One bite went in the bin. Custard flavour and not real custard??! Ice cold with ice frozen center!? Then used the male toilet...dirty and wow what a smell!! Its a superstore try using some cleaning materials in there! My wife used the females and found an even worst condition. Asda has really gone down hill

Avoided this Asda for it's long reputation for long que times and it's inability to consider hiring more staff..
Made the plunge today, and absolutely regretted it... It's that bad you need to reconsider buying fresh products because it's gonna be a while before you get to your fridge
Also seems there's a large theft issue as the checkout staff don't other to check the trolleys for unscanned as the amount of blatant theft goes unchallenged

This store is not even worth 1 star !
We went Thursday 1st May at 3pm it was quiet Our trolley was stacked high so no chance of self service checkout.we queued for 25 mins, seven people In front of us only 1 checkout open.I felt sorry for the girl on the checkout she was overwhelmed. Staff stood around talking in self service, we spent £130 I will NEVER visit this store again.I tried unsuccessfully to locate the name of the manager of this store because I wanted to see him face to face. Whoever you are you should read the other Google reviews and feel ashamed that you are in charge of this shambolic customer service!

Saturday only 3 tills open and11 waiting at tills normally come on Fridays and it's just as bad then, come on Asda get your act together, we don't want to use the self checkouts, OPEN MORE TILL, or loose more customers

Till situation is a complete joke.
Queues 5 and 6 deep, even longer at the self serve.

Recently this shop has gone dramatically downhill.
Many shelves are often empty or virtually empty and the variety of options available on many everyday products has reduced considerably.
Cream buns have virtually no cream in them, staff are stacking shelves in such a way that they're blocking customers rather than shelves being stocked when the customers aren't there, I don't know why they can't stock shelves when the customers aren't here as this is no longer a 24/7 ASDA.
The scanners on the self-service machines frequently cannot scan barcodes because the scanners are dirty and come up with errors. And on multiple occasions recently my husband and I have noted that staff have stocked the shelf with the wrong items. I'm not just saying that we've noticed this once or twice it's been at least a dozen times over the past few weeks that we have personally spotted items to have been put in the wrong place.
I'm not particularly blaming the staff they are generally very pleasant and hard working. I suspect that this is a management problem, especially in light of the stock level issues.
