As it turns out, I arrived just as they started serving breakfast and there was already a queue of regulars there. There was a range of foods on offer including fresh bread rolls and cakes in addition to the breakfast fare. You can mix and match what you want by the looks, but I went for the veggie breakfast with toast, fruit juice and coffee as extras. Its refillable coffee and the food was decent for the price. The mushrooms seem to be boiled rather than fried. It is tempting to go get a tiramisu as breakfast pudding.

Self served for hot drinks like wetherspoon, and ready to take dessert like a buffet, queued for hot food, payment at the counter after taking hot food ,dessert, and the empty cup for later adding coffee. Self clean table and return dishes to tray trolley, just like food court. Don't expect service and clean table.
Food quality normal and standard. Remember to register for members for free coffee.
Atmosphere is noisy and messy, cos so many children families. Not too bad, not too good. Good point is when you are free, this is fika

Used to love coming here. Over the past year at least has gone downhill massively. Limited menu and even less choice.. Couldn't serve food on show as they said was cold, yet the food we then chose instead was also only lukewarm. Service is slow and at busier times you can be queuing an hour or more.. We used to come here as a family for food and purchase goods from the shop whilst here but we won't be doing this anymore.. So disappointing ?

I wouldn't usually review a place like this, no one expects fine dining, but this place deserves a special mention for the worst food that I have ever eaten.
On a Tuesday afternoon we didn't expect to wait but we did, maybe 10-15 minutes.
We ordered 2 festive meals that were not available. Then Meatballs and mash, but no peas so were given sprouts.
The food was cold, when I say cold I mean room temperature cold. I'm no expert but I don't think food should be stored at this temperature.
I felt nauseous after eating.
This was the main restaurant, not the hot dog place on the way out which is probably a safer bet.

Had to queue twice because they closed their till and opened another when we were about to be served. Ended up behind three people who were originally behind us. I'm pregnant, only came here for a rest. Food was cold and hard by the time we finally sat down. Did say something, but didn't even get an apology.

Was looking forward to seeing the exceptional items IKEA used to have on show but dissappointed .

Arrived in the que for lunch at 11.27 am today with +50 people in front of us. There was only one person serving at the time. While waiting in the snaking barriers they opened another que at 11.45 pm on the other side. The people in the back of our qué ran over to the one they just opened. We eventually got our food at 12.15 pm. Also, the tables and chairs were dirty. The food was fine but the wait was unacceptable. Very bad management.

This place is filthy, floors, trays, everywhere. The staff are all mentally disabled other than the till staff which is good for hitting diversity targets but not good for food hygiene ratings or any ability to serve customers. It's time to hire some management to manage the people and teach them some skills or more them to a different dept where they are not a hindrance and can actually learn a job.

ATTROCIOUS!!! Came in on a Friday night and there?s a queue of 50 people with only one staff member on that?s moving at snails pace anyways. absolute piss take.

The single slowest IKEA restaurant I have ever attended. Admittedly it was 12.30 on a Sunday, but it was 13.45 by the time we were eating. I think an hour in a queue is a bit too long considering all the food is cooked and ready to go.

I have been bringing my Autistic son for dinner here for a while as he loves the food and the setting.
On todays visit thought things were VERY different!! Big queue doesn?t even begin to describe it, waiting for at least 20 mins while staff slowly wonder around as if there is nothing to do. When we did eventual reach the front of the queue we were told the food my son normally orders to be told they have not cooked them today as they have an abundance of other stuff they need to get rid off.
I understand they do not want to waste food but my son is vegetarian and would not eat the alternative they offered.
Instead of him having a pleasant meal which he normally enjoys it ended up with him getting quite upset with me.
There was no sign at the beginning of the queue stating that the plant based meatballs were not being served otherwise I wouldn?t have asked him to wait which he really struggled with.
There was also no real apology for this either just get what you get and go pay!!
In future I think it would be beneficial to at least put signs up if you are not serving one of the only plant based meals on the menu as to stop people wasting their time and have a potentially bad experience
