I?ve been at this gym just under 4 years and today I?ve decided to cancel my membership it?s just progressively getting worse. In the 4 years the Aircon have never worked and being in the gym and seeing people dripping sweat all over the equipment in 30 degree heat this summer with nothing provided to wipe down the machines, other Everlasts have spray and blue roll.
They have recently moved equipment around, a pointless exercise, just annoying regular users, even moving a squat rack away from a mirror to a brick wall. I can?t think of any other exercise that?s more important to have a mirror for form.
The TVs don?t work properly.
The bikes are not serviced.
The hip thrust belt doesn?t remain fastened.
Broken mirrors not fixed.
Rowing machines over hanging on the sled run.
The only positive reviews for this gym are from people who have only just joined.

Not a bad gym, little unclean but that?s due to gym members & some of the equipment needs updating or replacing.

had a day pass with these guys from online and i had an email saying to come in and show the email to reception and i can come in, i had made an hour journey to try this gym and to my disappointment the man at the reception said the service has now changed but the email has not been updated, he said we need to book 24 hours in advance and this was not included in the email. overall very disappointing and very unprofessional staff at the reception overspeaking whenever i tried to utter a sentence. would not recommend.

I like it here, cleaner than the halifax one, all the machines work and if you get there at the right time can be quiet.

I was expecting a JD sort of gym but I was pleasantly surprised. The equipment was good and the staff were really helpful especially Nathan.

Never stick to the open hours constantly arriving and the gym is closed when everywhere I look it states it?s open

Really nice gym, not too busy, good crowd of people, great swimming pool.

The AC doesn't work nor are there plans in place to fix it and the gym is already getting uncomfortably warm at this time of the year.
I wasn't told about the malfunctioning AC when I signed up in Winter so I'm locked into a contract with a gym I can't comfortably use for up to half the year.
The equipment is largely fine but a lot of the cycling machines are broken on a regular basis, the noise levels of the music system is set slightly too high too.
Not that I believe this is a fault of the gym but the parking area often smells of sewage too.

Been using this gym for 3 years, in that time I don't think the AC has ever worked. Instead they opt for putting a few large fans in places that only cover 3 or so machines. It's not even summer and it's already becoming uncomfortably warm and humid.
I've paid a lot less for a much better experience back before I moved into the area. Other everlast gyms I've used don't have this problem. I'd have stopped using this gym if not for friends also having memberships here.
