Admittedly it was a Sunday evening around 8pm and there was one other couple in the restaurant hence a low score for atmosphere.
Food was quick, starter and main done and dusted in 45mins. Too quick for my liking.
Food was OK. Bread basket and the bread was dry. Starter was garlic bread. Mains Lasagne and Calzone. So yes we chose Basic food. Husband enjoyed his Calzone, my lasagne was OK.
Including wine and service charge bill was £80.00.
We've been four times in 10 years and for us that's enough, won't go again.

So the food here at Valentinos is really good but tonight is the 2nd or 3rd time in our past few visits where we have had to send drinks back as they're using flat tonic & coke as their mixers.
They need to be using individual bottles so that you're able to see the spirit in the glass and then add as much "fresh" mixer as you like - but the drinks arrive already done with half melted ice and not very presentable at all. Come on Valentinos - up your game, it's letting the restaurant down.

Had a lovely meal with my sister and elderly parents last night, great atmosphere we never felt rushed even though we were just having mains and a glass of wine. Food was excellent and very reasonable especially as our parents were paying ? if I had to find anything to be unhappy about and it was more for my sister, who is celiac there wasn't any gluten free bread and she had to watch us 3 devour a basket of the most divine Italian bread.

We came here on holiday and wanted a find dinning experience, and we got it! The food was spectacular and good value. Thank u guys it made our holiday eating at your restaurant! Absolutely fabulous!

We recently visited Valentino and had a rather uneven dining experience. When we sat down, we immediately noticed a spiderweb between two wine glasses with napkins, and a spider weaving its way across. After removing the glasses and napkins, another spider appeared from the second napkin. I asked the waitress to replace the glasses and napkins, and while she seemed quite embarrassed, she responded quickly.
When it came to drinks, I ordered a Diet Coke as listed on the menu. Unfortunately, what I received was a flat, off-brand cola. I asked for a fresh glass and specifically requested the original Diet Coke, but was again given the same flat, cheap substitute. It was clear that this was the only cola option they had available.
The starters were a bright spot in the meal. I enjoyed the antipasto, which was quite good. However, the main courses were disappointing. I ordered a chicken dish with spinach and Italian cheese, but there was no cheese to be found. The dish consisted of a poached chicken breast with a crema sauce mixed with finely chopped spinach, lacking any seasoning and overall quite bland. The roasted vegetables on the side were inconsistent?some were fine, but others, like the potatoes, seemed old and had a grey, unappetizing appearance and taste.
On the positive side, the service was decent, and our young waitress was very nice and apologetic, though it was clear she couldn?t do much to improve our experience.
In summary, while the starters were enjoyable, the cleanliness issues, subpar drinks, and disappointing main courses left much to be desired.

For the first time I felt the main course was underwelming. We are regular visitors but my chicken dish was pretty tasteless,as though unseasoned and not coloured up in a pan before the sauce was added. I hope this was a one off lapse. It's very rare for me to have chicken because it can be a dull meal. This validated my view so back to fish dishes next time . Otherwise all was fine .
