Very cold no heating no fire lit, no ice they had to go to shop no fruit slice so had to ask for that. It isn?t as good as it used to be.

What a delight! First time visit. There was 7 of us, and we had a lovely seated area that felt quite private. The food was fab (highly recommend the pie). We checked out the outside area in anticipation of summer. Looks lovely. Will definitely be back.

Visited The white horse late Saturday afternoon , four of us . Only one table eating but we still could not get seated due to waitress doing menus and made us feel uneasy . If you are a restaurant don't have walk in drinks . If you are a public house cater for people who want a drink !

Went tonight (2 people) for the Monday special of Moules et Frites which we have done a number of times in the past and always enjoyed.
Unfortunately, tonight did not live up to expectations. And this is not directed at the serving staff who did their best, or the quality of the food, but management need to understand that there was a lot which could be significantly improved -
? when a a table is set for 4 but there are only 2 diners, the other 2 placements, ie multiple glasses, cutlery and plates, should be removed
? we asked for some bread but the staff somehow seemed to think this was our starter
? as a result the bread arrived with butter that had to be sent back as it was so hard that it was impossible to spread
? as another result, the main course didn?t arrive for at least another 30 minutes
? the customer at the bar who?s conversation and language was impossible to ignore and overpowered our own conversation
? better not to have a tea light holder on the table if that light needs to be replaced
These may seem like minor issues but put together they made for a very disappointing evening.
I hope this feedback helps to improve the overall customer experience you offer.

I?m not one who will often write a review on places I?ve been, but this time around felt I needed to do.
I went there for a family gathering as it was my sister?s birthday so we felt the need to go somewhere nice and was not disappointed by the overall look and surroundings of the pub
We sat down and had drinks and then placed our orders for food. After about an hour. I was beginning to think when was the food going to arrive. After 1 and half hours it arrived.
So I was expecting everything to be just perfect, but my wife?s fish Had been left in the fryer far too long and was dry as a board so asked for a replacement which did turn up and was fine. This was then subsequently taken off the price of the bill which was very fair of them.
After a few of us had ordered puddings, we then received the bill to which we all took a look at to see how much we needed to pay.
We could not figure this out as some of the items on there were incorrect, so went to the bar for an explanation and found two meals on the bill shouldn? have been on the bill and prices of other things which were incorrect at this point another couple came up to the bar as well and was asking the same thing about their bill
So to sum up overall meals, not too bad, but the overall experience was not that impressive after certain issues that could have been resolved quite easily with better management skills

WOW!! Sadly didn?t take photos but Highly recommend anyone to go to the white horse!! Food was the best pie I?ve had for a very long time.
Staff exceptionally friendly, the Lager was crisp and we will without doubt be visiting again!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, side room was free for us so kept the 2 year old semi contained.

I have been to the White Horse several times for meals and drinks as the atmosphere and staff food are extremely nice and professional. Unfortunately, today my 84 year old friend was turned away at the door as they had a party booked. I am disappointed that they were not able to accommodate
locals in some part of the pub as they are the bread and butter of the system.
