Great place for supper after a cold winter walk. Warming fireplaces, very friendly to dogs and their families. Good beer, great food, excellent service.

Waiting to be served at the bar. It was busy and the two young ladies were stretched and doing a fabulous job. But the manager dressed in all black or who ever she was came behind the bar twice being rude and obnoxious it wasn't very professional at all especially when people are in earshot and waiting to be served. We will avoid this pub if this person is there again.

popped to The Brown Cow on way home from a long lovely hike!
it was very busy but we got a little table and the dog was welcome in!
the staff was nice and helpful!
the food was really nice and warm, I had half of each so I would definitely recommend the steak pie for a pub grub it was soo lovely! the fish and chips was also great, fresh and delicious!
pint was good too!

Not a great experience, came with 2kids and 2 adults and left disappointed. Everyone did not enjoy the food. The service was lousy, This place is only good for a social drink outside.The food is rubbish and over priced. Nice area which is why we thought we'd check it out. Won't be returning again.they need to stick to just a drinking pub

Nice place get an invite spend money but staff especially the female with black hair tied in a ponytail looking like a bulldog so rude. Discredit to the owners want to look into her customer service.

Had a meal and had to send back as shell fish that wasn't cooked properly .They apologised and took off the bill however I was really sick for days ,I emailed to let them know with no response. I emailed again seven days later saying I was disappointed they had not acknowledged my email and still no response. All it would of took was a acknowledgement and an apology and this review would not of been posted .

Good beer . Hopical storm very refreshing. New food menu, steak and ale pie a good tasty portion.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating.
I'm not one for getting pub classics, but the steak pie was absolutely fantastic.
The starters were just as good fresh sides with the homemade tortilla chips and an eye-watering scotch egg.
Worth every penny and more, we shall definitely be praising this establishment.

Sharing plater for 2 would do 1 £18.
1 scotch egg 6 small meat small pot pickle onions.
Small pot olives.2 slices crusty bread cut in half
