Went to a formal function at the golf club, first time we had been there for about 15 years. Easy to get to and plenty parking. Main drawback is you need to go up an outer staircase to get into the clubhouse (there may be another way round but never saw it). The meal was adequate although that might have been due to the choices the organisers of the dinner made. Ambience was good though and facilities excellent.

Excellent.Course 4.5 starClub House 5 starPractice facility 4 starIt?s all about the course and Shipley is a cracker. Interesting, fun, challenging, fair and in places very attractive, the 7th being very special. If it were my home course I?d be very happy indeed. Just a few niggles ( personal to me perhaps) which are.1. The 8th is just too hard for ?average? golfers, not fun.2. The greens were woolly & slow but true and fair.3. A few of the T?s had tree branches protruding too far making it almost impossible for a draw.Always a treat to play a McKenzie, Shipley no exception, highly recommend.

I have just had my mums funeral celebration at Shipley Golf Club. I could not have chosen a better place. Massive thankyou to Alice who was so supportive every step of the way. Food beautiful and all staff on the day lovely. Thank you so much

Absolutely fantastic night last night at the ABBA tribute. Superb food, amazing duo and fabulous DJ who played all the best tunes and had everyone up dancing the night away. Will definitely book again. Well done Alice, you are a superstar!
