Every member of staff I?ve had interaction with at Specsavers, Batley has contributed to my opinion that they really are a dream team. They always make me feel like I?m a special customer. The care and attention taken to determine the right prescription for me has been second to none.The range of frames available is excellent.I am 100% satisfied and I have no hesitation recommending Specsavers, Batley to anyone.

This is the second pair of glasses I have had from Specsavers and once again the lens has fallen out with the little screw coming lose for the price I payed I'm peed off yet another trip on the bus to the shop which I can not really afford with the time and money

Great customer service is so hard to find nowadays but everyone at Specsavers Batley was so friendly and helpful! From the lady that greeted me and did the initial eye test, to the optician, and Jack the guy who helped size my new glasses. Would defo recommend this location for anyone looking for an eye test, especially if you are anxious about having one done

We booked an appointment for last Saturday for a contact lens check and eye test. As our contact lenses had run out, we ordered and paid for new lenses that would arrive by the Saturday. It was explained to us that on arrival, we would put the lenses on, wait 30 mins, then the lens check would occur. Then lenses would be removed, and standard eye test would occur.We got a call on Saturday morning saying that we need to move the appointment due to staff illness. We were happy to move to Wednesday morning. On Tuesday got another call asking to move the appointment again - now to Friday morning at 8:50. It wasn't the most convenient time, but as it is half term, we could make it happen so agreed to the time.On Thursday, we were in town for another job, so we decided to check if the contact lenses were ready. A young man went around the back, and after a lot of deliberating he came back and gave us one pair. He said that we could put the lenses on at home instead of waiting 30 mins in store.The store opens at 8:45, were due to arrive at 8:50, put lenses in and wait 30 mins. Contact lens check at 9:20, followed by standard eye test. We arrived at 9am with contact lenses on, still 20 mins early for the contact lens check. A lady called Emma at reception was ever so rude. She said we had to leave and that our appointments had been cancelled because we are late. We could re-arrange for a week later. The young man who gave us the contact lenses the previous day was blanked, as were we when we tried to explain that we are note late. She had sent someone else in who had come early, and was not willing to try to find a resolution for us. She kept talking over me when I tried to explain. Then she kept shouting, saying "don't shout at me" and refusing to listen to anything. Her blatant refusal to listen and engage in finding a solution was shocking. I told her calmly that I was not happy with the situation, 3 appointments in a week cancelled. Her response was, "That's fine!". She said that staff illness was not her fault. I told her management of the situation today was not satisfactory. She said "That's fine". I told it it wasn't fine, and that I wanted the complaints procedure. She gave me an appointment card, and said email Dan the manager. The appointment card had no email address on, just the store number, address and website.We've been using Specsavers Batley for many years. Never had an issue like this before. Usually we get polite and friendly service with a smile, with staff members eager to help. Looking at other recent poor reviews, it seems a lady matching Emma's description is the common denominator. Very poor people and management skills. I'm very disappointed with her manner and actions today.

If I could give a zero I would, came for my childrens appointment to be told they have cancelled them no contact made me although they tried to tell me someone had attempted to call me but with no missed calls, voicemails or emails I find this highly unlikely.My daughters appointment was at 4pm another child had arrived 30 minutes early for an appointment and got seen at 4 pm because the 4 o?clock hadn?t turned up unbelievable!!!16 years I?ve been a customer never experienced a store like it they won?t get our custom anymore.
