My experience with Furniture Village has been disheartening on multiple fronts. My wife and I purchased a bed, mattress, and a table and chair set. Unfortunately, the table arrived damaged, and this initial setback was disappointing. However, it became more distressing when the bed, a significant purchase, developed known manufacturing issues.The bed has been broken and was reported over nine months ago with still no positive outcome. The communication and their intent to have a resolution have been frustratingly slow. The delay is attributed to ordering and then misplacing the part, compounding the inconvenience. The lack of a timely solution and the prolonged wait for the bed repair have significantly impacted my satisfaction as a customer.This series of setbacks raises concerns about the quality control and customer service standards at Furniture Village. It's my hope that they address these issues promptly to restore confidence in their products and commitment to customer satisfaction.The absence of proactive communication raises concerns about the transparency and customer service aftercare at Furniture Village. It is my sincere hope that they address not only the product quality and repair issues but also improve their communication channels to keep their customers informed and reassured during such challenging situations.In hindsight, the staff in the store were always welcoming and friendly, but the aftercare has been shocking. Despite the initial positive interactions, the challenges with aftercare, especially regarding the bed repair and communication, have significantly impacted my overall experience as a customer.

Ordered a new dining table from here, great product but cannot say the same about the Birstall team. The store manager Mark is absolutely useless, we continually tried to get in contact with him for weeks and he only had the courtesy to call back when the problem directly started to affect him. Our table was 4 weeks late and even then 2 chairs were missing. Main issue was instead of accepting responsibility they blamed others rather than getting our problem solved. Not even one apology was given by anyone?.Very disappointed, I understand hiccups can happen but the fact I had to find out myself why my table had gone missing rather than the team at birstall shows the level of responsibility of the staff?.

We saw a bedside table reduced to clear. We wanted to buy it then and there cause we also live an hour away, but they failed to find a solution to unscrew it off the floor even though the back panel of it that looks like a seperated wall was removable. Because we picked up the same one from sheffield and they had the same layout but they actually tried to remove it and succeeded. anyhow we said we are buying the other pair at their other store so can they save it for us till they remove the wardrobe next to it for it be easier for them to remove the chest drawers. They said yes. Been weeks no call, I rang today and apparently it got "smashed" when the "technical" guy came in and they only had a darker grey one left. How about call your customer saying Sorry the bedside table you reserved got damaged is there anything else we can do, they're waiting for us to call everyday and then be the annoying one for being persistent. So I'm left with an odd bedside table with the 5 drawer chest drawer.

Furniture village Birstall first visit and won?t be the last, some really lovely furniture and some great offers. Nice place to walk around & big shop but plenty of places to sit down!Aamir came to assist us as well as completing the paperwork for our furniture and he was very personable, knowledgeable & just a really nice all round guy, nice coffee too!Thanks for your help Aamir it didn?t feel stressful at all and no pressure sales talk, in fact it was really easy & relaxed?.. ??

Avoid! Go anywhere else!Ordered a table in July, given 9-11 weeks for delivery. Heard nothing from Furniture Village. Had to chase and chase. No one answered phone. Had to send emails to ask for contact. Finally received an update. Had to wait until 11 November for my table (17 weeks later!!!) The table arrived and it was damaged!!!!!!! Now having to wait for a replacement. NO IDEA OF WHEN I WILL GET A REPLACEMENT! Absolutely fuming!

We had our furniture purchase today for our new home at Furniture village, Leeds. It was such a great experience. We had a lot of confusion regarding quality, colour etc, but Sayed was extremely helpful and friendly. We finally got what we wanted, best quality and variety of colour options explained by Syed. We are extremely happy with our experience today with Sayed and Furniture village products. Thanks a lot. Would definitely recommend.

This company are so welcoming when you go in there store and helpful, but one you pay your money that's where it ends. I ordered table and 4 chairs in September, and they said I would receive it at end of October then they said there was a delay and it would be between 17th and 24th of November and once again now saying between 1st and 8th of December. Get no answer when you call it is a joke. And reading reviews of people saying when they finally get there items they are damaged so I am not hopeful at all. But fingers crossed. Not reliable at all. Hopefully one day I can turn this receive to a good one.
