The Bingley Arms is one of the best things from my trip to England. It was a hidden jewel in my quick stay in Leeds, where I arrived from York in the morning just to head to Liverpool before the evening strikes. This place is not only the oldest pub/inn in the world, but also a breathtaking temple of alcohol to its local community, who gathers over there to chill after an exhausting day and meet the amazing attendant Cath - whose seriousness at first can be a bit intimidating, but after a brief talk reveals herself as an obstinated woman who values her people and environment. Certainly an unforgettable time filled with good beer and a wonderful pie that I'll hold dearly until the end of my days. The experience to walk in such a historical place was marvelous, you should definitey try it.

I went for a meal with four family members on 29 August. The meals were all very tasty and unlike many pubs we?ve been too they were piping hot! The service couldn?t be faulted and we would be very happy to go again. My daughter and son in law always want to visit the Bardsey Arms every time they stay in Yorkshire. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

Lovely stay, nice atmosphere and cracking food. Went for the Sunday dinner which was a tad expensive, but great quality.
Good line up at the bar and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely little spot

Really nice pub! We have been to this pub a few times now and it is always really lovely! Food tastes amazing, I would recommend the Sunday lunch and the chocolate cake for after! We have also been for lunch before and had burgers, which were really nice too! Staff are always nice and friendly!

Lovely old pub in a pretty village. Parts of it date back 1000 years. We took a detour for some food on the way to Newcastle and so glad we did! The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The menu was standard pub food but there was nothing standard about their steak and ale pie - full up to the brim, no fat or gtistle just slow cooked beef and it was possible the best one I ever had. My husband has real mashed potato, not powdered and the chips I had were delish. Well worth another visit

Best pie ever, my daughter's partner said. We had Sunday lunch and that was pretty good too. Dog friendly as well, thanks

Got lucky on a Sunday afternoon to grab some food. The pub is a beautiful place that has worked hard to keep the history front and centre. Lots of little break out rooms with tables so it felt much more intimate than the exterior would suggest.
Food was great. A very generous portion, I had beef which was medium rare as requested when they asked how I wanted it. My son had gammon from the kids menu which I wouldn't have been disappointed with as an adult option!
The service was friendly, attentive and comfortable.
Great food, looked like a good selection of drinks and a destination in itself with the history!

We recently visited the oldest pub in Leeds with its historic charm and mouthwatering food, whilst celebrating a family occasion.
From the moment we entered, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
Amongst us was my elderly auntie, who is only able to get about in a wheelchair. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my aunt was comfortable and all her needs were met. They were all attentive and incredibly accommodating.
The food was exceptional and presented beautifully. The chefs are clearly passionate about their work, taking care with every dish served.
My family enjoyed the experience so much, we have re booked for June.
It was a perfect day with a blend of heritage and high-quality dining. It was a fabulous experience.
It is without doubt a must-visit venue, highly recommended.
The Bingley Arms is a credit to the Landlord and Landlady.
Thank you all for an amazing time
