If i had to rate the club management, it would be below 0 if there was a number below this!
Me and another female were subjected to racial verbal abuse during an evening swimming session by a not so polite late 50s white man!
Our contact details were taken, but 3+ months on and still there has not been any updates on this! which is utterly despicable!
If, on the other hand, it had been an Asian man doing the same to a white woman, the health club would have taken matters very seriously. Social media would have had a field day.
It seems women, especially non white voices, do not matter here.It has resulted in few leaving or not returning to classes.
If you want a health club to maintain a certain level of standards, then listen or take formal complaints seriously and show that you have taken some action.
Not allow that individual to carry on swimming here and expect us to understand it's okay for them to have this kind of behaviour towards women or even other members of staff.
Don't expect to get a quick response by front desk.
But the trainers are more than 10/10!!!

I have just started pt with Oscar and what an experience it has been. He is so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond in helping me to recover for an acl rupture and torn meniscus. In three weeks he has improved my mobility,nutrition and built my confidence.What I like the most is we discuss my progress and tweak things accordingly.Nothing is too much for him .Thankyou for such a great service Oscar and nuffield....

I've gained so much from PT sessions with Hannah. I went from Couch to 5k to completing the Lakeland 50. My sessions are always varied and good fun. Nuffield Shipley is a nice relaxed gym, with good classes and lovely swimming pool.

Pools nice, gyms okay - needs an upgrade. Most staff are lovely but I have witnessed some shocking behavior from some staff. Particularly Joanne. The way she speaks to others is appalling, I wouldn't speak to my dog that way. Very clear she only cares about herself and doesn't matter who she upsets in the meantime. She was lovely to me when she wanted me to join but now she looks through my soul when she sees me.
Reception team are nice, always say hi and bye. PTs are very friendly.

Nuffield gym is my go to when I visit family in Baildon. Great gym and facilities. The best thing about the place however, is the team. I have met Charlotte & Louise. They do an amazing job of running a busy front of house whilst always being friendly, polite and professional. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Line Dancing with Alison is great! Alison is a friendly, helpful (patient) teacher! The whole class is friendly and welcoming. I do many classes in Cottingley but this one at Shipley is great class?

Coming to Nuffield in Shipley is a part of my daily routine, the reception staff are always welcoming and cheerful especially Sarah, Louise and Abby. Charlotte who works as Duty Manager is also extremely polite, helpful and always there when need, always smiling and welcoming and makes coming to the gym all the more worth while, keep it up Charlotte! All the staff take time to talk and listen and there is a very positive vibe around the whole gym. The pool and spa facilities are excellent and for me, it gets my day off to a great start.

The staff are wonderful here, I've been helped so much and my health has improved massively from being here. It's always lovely and clean and the food in the cafe is delicious and healthy, always served with a smile. Staff are on hand to help and ask questions, I feel comfortable in the gym despite being obese I never get anything but positive energy, I highly recommend shipley to anyone wanting to improve the quality of their lives. Leah at Shipley is a fantastic swimming teacher, can?t recommend her highly enough. Our son has gone from strength to strength with her.
