Really convenient that you can park very close and you can use a payment card for the larger machines and dryers. I parked in the pay and display car park and paid £1 for the hour, I think you can park in the other car park behind and put your registration in (inside the launderette) and park for free. You need 50p/£1/£2 if you're paying cash. There are magazines to read while you wait too :)

I have been doing washing here for the past 4 Sundays, and I wished they had wifi or even a tv to watch the cellphone reception here is really bad so i give 2 stars other than that very clean and I can Pay with my card that helps alot

Smaller machines are cash only. standard size wash £4. So if planning on paying by card, bring plenty to launder, £8. Friendly environment with benches to sit on.

I went to this one because I read about the no coins needed! It?s only small but perfectly adequate with plenty of washers and dryers. The lady was very helpful and showed me how to use the contactless system. I?m a real tech-no phobe!There?s also free parking, but behind the launderette. Don?t forget to sign up! The other car park is payment and limited to 2 hours.Altogether an easy experience.

Before I came here, I went crazy looking for coins because the laundrette at Saltaire only accept coins. To my surprise, this washers and dryers at this laundrette accept contactless payment and I need not have worries about coins. This laundrette should advertise this fact.And it's just next to the Towngate bus stop. No walking required to drag the laundry .

Lovely self service laundry, though the helpful lady who runs it is sometimes there. If she is, you can leave big things for her to wash or by washing powder from her if you forgot it. Four big machines at 7 pounds, 5 or 6 small ones at 4 pounds, and seven ish, depending on which ones are working, dryers with huge capacities where you pay by the minute.Both card and cash accepted. Also has the contact details of a place where you can buy dog garments and wollen hand coverings.

I used to go regularly but last time I went it a washing machine door had been left open. The handle stabbed into my leg causing a massive bruise (see photo). I swore loudly (my bad) but the member of staff didn't apologise or even acknowledge anything had happened. Asking if I was ok would have been enough. On top of that she watched me struggling to drag a huge hamper of laundry in (I was feeling dizzy) without offering to help, made me wait for ages and then wouldn't commit to a pick up time the following day.When I raised all this she said 'it's not my job to close the machines and help people with their washing'.I called later and asked to speak to the owner. She wouldn't provide his details and I haven't had a call back as requested.I can only give them 1 star because of poor safety & customer care.
