50 odd mile ride to visit this place. Was a little disappointed at being charged £4 for a bread roll, marge and one slice of processed roast beef as a sandwich. Really did expect more from a place that has become so popular.

Raymond is a fantastic host, 100 out of 10 if that was possible to give. His bacon is always crisp and the buns are firm. Great atmosphere and only the charm a Scotsman can give. Great sausage too. Shame there's there's no lorne sausage but one can live with that.
Cafe is nice too. Good coffee. Will be visiting again regularly.

Took a ride out on our Triumph for a light lunch, been told about the cafe by friends who had visited, well worth the 90 minute journey.

Good food, but it does feel rather expensive. I'm not sure if the staff come across as assertive or abrupt, there is a polite way of asking customers to not block the doorway.
