A very good stop over for coffee on the Bolton Abbey Walking trail.

Slightly overpriced but you can expect that as you are in the middle of nowhere. Good service, can't comment on the food as we just bought snacks. This cafe is situated facing the Cavendish Bridge and the views and surrounding area has amazing scenic views.

Only had cream tea but the scone was undercooked - soggy middle. Not what one expects for an easy bake.

Change to self service by the time you have queued to pay for your beverage it?s cold. There is a machine that gives coffee hot chocolate etc, who fancies a coffee with the dregs of the previous order in the same pipe going into your drink I.e. chocolate into your coffee. Everyone is complaining about the new system, even the staff they are not happy either. Whoever thought of this idea has never worked on the shop floor and has got no idea. You have ruined a perfectly good little cafe/restaurant with lack of thought.

Great food served by the most sarcastic staff I've ever met. Really disappointed, when we asked for a bowl of tomato and basil soup, we were told if that's what it says on the label and ask the next person to serve you. Yorkshire humour maybe ... or just plain rudeness.

Definitely worth a stop off when walking around the estate

Staff are great, grub is OK, usually very hot in there especially in the summer. Grub is expensive £15 for two coffees, scone and cake. Oh yeah, if sitting outside, keep an eye on your food since the birds will help themselves!

Ordered an Oat milk coffee for allergies reasons and was questioned if that meant I wanted them to follow their allergy protocols. I said ?yes it?s important to not mix the milks up thank you? but a bit surprised they even asked. Only to be told ?it?s not an allergy then just an intolerance ( by the lady server who has no idea about my health needs) and we can follow our usual drink making process?. I have never been questioned at any other cafe when ordering coffee and always respected about my order and needed alternative milks. It was just not needed. Especially when the server made sure to raise their voice for everyone around us to hear.
Horrible customer service from the serves and general brings down the lovely atmosphere of the café.
