Lovely views of the sea. Food restaurant medeoca. I believe it needs updating it's starting to look shabby.Staff are Lovely and friendly. Would try again when refurbished.Rooms: Quite small. Comfortable, though.Walkability: Handy for the beach ?? and Promenade. Shops not far.Food & drinks: Restaurant in hotel was not recommended for romantic night ? there are restaurants locally though.

Never stayed in such a dirty hotel room - no soap, hair on the dispenser, shower gel so watered down could barely keep it in my hand, hair in shower, hair in bed, light switches filthy, sockets dangerous - fused as soon as I plugged in the kettle, was told not to use those sockets meaning I had to unplug the heater to do anything electrical. It's cheap, but not worth staying even for the low price

Sister stayed here. 3 in a seafront room. Excellent value for money but don't expect decor to be perfect like other well brands. But they are £50 more a night. Breakfast atmosphere and offering wasn't great. But again. Value for money. You'd pay double if you went out for breakfast.

I can't comment as the venue wasn't taking in walk-ins on the evening. I was trying to secure a room for a young lady who was stranded in Worthing over the new year. For what ever reason the suddenly became fully booked.I wasn't able to find her a place to sleep anywhere, unfortunately she spent Christmas on the street as I didn't have accommodation to give her.

We're fairly local to Worthing and we only wanted something nearby to stay for new years eve/day. So we booked here last minute. One younger receptionist is quite abrupt but apart from that out stay was very good. We found a good parking spot around the back in the car park. Our room was a standard double and was clean and the bathroom was huge. It also had a single bed in it aswell. We went to the bar in the evening on new years eve once we had finished going out and Peter the bar man was a true legend. He is a real assest to Travel lodge. He was friendly, polite and great at his job. He made good quality drinks and food and was an extremely nice fella. The 3 bites for £11 were quality, made hot and fresh by Peter and perfect for something light with a few drinks. At 10pm once the bar closed we headed back to our room to celebrate the rest of new years and watch the fireworks. In the morning we enjoyed the unlimited breakfast which was very tasty and even had a few vegetarian options. Only thing was the hashbrowns could've been crispier. The hotel is a little run down and isn't perfect but we throughly enjoyed our stay at a good price! Especially at new years. We will be back again. Also very near attractions such as bowling, cinema, pier, restaurants and more!

Excellent budget hotel perfectly situated on Worthing seafront. Friendly and helpful staff. The lifts are quite small, and so is the bathroom in the single room I stayed in but it would be only a problem for the larger traveller.Nearby activities: Many shops, bars, cafes, etc are very near, it is a short walk to a ten pin bowling alley, cinema/theatre only a few minutes away.Noteworthy details: Superb views from rooms located on the seafront side. Two multi-storey car parks nearby, plenty of on-street car parking meter controlled, free on Sundays.

We went for a two night stay at the beginning of December which coincided with a very cold spell of weather & strong winds. The location is brilliant, right on the seafront, the staff were very welcoming & helpful & the café served great food..... however the room was freezing cold! It was quite a big room with a 'lobby' & then 5 or 6 steps down, but there was one small convector type radiator, no heat in the bathroom at all & we had to sleep with our coats on top of the duvet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is great. The parking situation isn?t the best, with the car park filling up quickly and all other parking nearby paid and time limited. The rooms are dismal at best. The place is in desperate need of an update and feels very worn out. Lots of stains and mould in the bathroom for example.

Very helpful lady in the evening gave extra blanket and hairdryer . Corridors smell of cannabis . Was a very cold room, tatty curtains worse than I remembered the rooms to be . However, he was very comfortable sleeping and did warm up . Would pay 30 but 48 was to much . The area wasn't nice very rundown people shouting outside window at night . Wouldn't stay again

A little dated ,but excellent service from all Staff particularly Peter on reception. We had our dog with us as allowed which enabled us to enjoy our break to the Full.Rooms: Rooms were adequate, more storage for clothes would be welcomeNearby activities: Very close to town centre and all activities, right on the sea front.Food & drinks: We just had breakfast at travelodge, was good with plenty to choose from and my partner who is celiac had a choice of gluten free foods.

The location is excellent, parking is limited, but the staff were helpful and rooms were clean. Just a shame our room keys had to be reprogrammed 3 times in a 2-day stay. It took one supervisor with gumption to say what the problem was and fully deal with it (resolved by replacing batteries in the door lock itself?) instead of the previous attempts which obviously were never going to fix it.

The land that time forgot!Hotel looks like something from the walking dead on the outside, weeds growing from stone work etc. staff were friendly but couldn't provide a recipt, still haven't had the email copy I was promised. Room smelt like vomit and none of the power sockets worked properly, plugging my phone in to charge was losing more battery than it gained. Main lift broken and the secondary lift was like being shut in a fridge. Won't be staying here again.
