Tim is such a lifesaver. Out for a night and the pavement ate my shoes tip. He literally saved the evening by replacing my beloved 16 year anniversary la shoes within minutes. Life saver! Love timpsons and love Tim in montague street!

I went to the shop on 4/11/23 for a watch battery change. The assistant was already dealing with a customer - but when that transaction was over, the assistant completely ignored me, and went to serve someone else that had entered the shop After me!I walked out!Unbelievably poor.

Brought a pair of brown leather brogues in last Wednesday the 25th Nov to have a new heel put on .I was told to come back in two hours, then told the cost would be £16.95, when I came to collect them Simpsons had put on a Rubber Heel!!!! Now I didn't ask for rubber heel and would have refused one,so when I asked for new heel on expensive leather shoes,I presumed that any competent cobbler would replace them with leather heels. They then charged me £17.00 and saked for payment before I was shown shoes!.when I said with complete surprise they are rubber? The staff said well you didn't ask for leather!!!! Why would I have too ?. And on top of it the job was a complete mess!! Scratches all over the soul where the machine had scrapped the leather and gaps between the new heel and the shoe. This would let in the rain and rot the shoe from the inside . So I had to take shoe to another cobblers in durrington to be repaired ,they took photos and where completely amazed that such a mess could be made .. So DO NOT USE TIMPSONS if you have a good pair of shoes ...avoid at all cost ...hope they make better keys Would rather Not give them a star rating .....
