I was enjoying browsing early on a Sunday morning. Myself and my daughter were the only ones in the shop. When, out of nowhere the manager Tony Barrett looked over and told me I looked suspicious and was I going to buy anything!! I was utterly shocked and cannot believe this man is in this job. I'm not a big shopper but always go in Edinburgh Wool but frankly this man is in the wrong job and really upset me. Please get rid of him he's in the wrong job and can't speak to customers like this... shocking ? ?

We have been going to this store for years, but recently it has a new manager ,the staff don?t seem very happy and the look of the store is not so good. Some of the staff have left, I understand they were not too happy with things recently.

Had a very bad experience today at the store.
We were 2 families visiting together.
The manager said that kids are not allowed in the store and the store is for serious buyers. This was after we had spent more the £200 pounds each today shopping in other stores!!
The manager of the store was very rude and asked us to leave the store.
There was no display that kids were not allowed in the store. He was just bluffing, and the way he approached and asked us to leave the store was clear to me that he was doing racial profiling.
Before this experience, my friend introduced me to this shop and told me that this is a good store and was telling me to get stuff from this store.
I am never buying anything from this store. This was one of the worst experiences in any shop ever. The store manager is one of the worst customer representatives the store can keep. The other customer representatives in the store were fine, and I had no issues interacting with them.

My husband and I are frequent visitors to EWM in Worthing, West Sussex. So I thought it was time to write a review. We love the clothes etc but what really makes this branch, a cut above the rest, is the genuinely helpful shop assistants, Moira and Simi... Thank you for always being so helpful, personable and informative. You don't get service like that much anymore so thank you for making the experiences always pleasurable x

Disappointing if you want anything in small size, and almost impossible to make a gift exchange, even with the gift receipt, if you need to downsize. Rules and regulations mean the shop won't order the size you need for exchange if they have it available online unless you pay for it up front. In that case, they'll give you a gift receipt for more stock that you don't want. I predict this store will go out of business within 5 years.

Not exactly the friendliest staff in the world. I went in to look around, returned later to buy a DVD I'd looked at earlier. Both times the staff were decidedly frosty. I decided that I wouldn't want to venture back here again to buy anything ever again. This experience was a few weeks back ago when I was visiting Worthing for a day out on a wet and windy day. There was scaffolding then in front of this shop. I see since that's been removed.
