Used this store for awhile and Julie is just the sweetest so kind so helpful always happy to say hello while some staff can be quite rude Connor is also very friendly and helpful and is a delight and regularly aisles are not accessible due to stocking shelves and doing the delivery?s that ideally should be done at a more convenient time and I refuse to buy meat products many occasions we have brought chicken that is in date and it has been rotten one occasion I had to return chicken 3 times each pack was rotten so in the end Kira gave a refund and have quite often heard staff members slagging off eachother or customers but plus side?.mccolls is far worse

Beware of out of date products especially the reduced stuff trying to get a £00.30p refund for lumpy milkshake being 8 days out of date. To no avail? they simply said best before dates have extra time? i fee they were talking crap? over £00.30p??????????????????

I also meant to say he gets really funny with you if you go in last 9.45pm, like your not welcome. stands at the door giving evil eyes to people who go in, makes snide remarks like "you've left it a bit late haven't you" and closes the electric machines sometimes as early as a quarter to 10 so if you need last-minute electric you cant get it, as if it's going to get him home so much quicker and it once resulted in us having to stay with family (luckily they live next door or dunno what we would have done :( )the night because our electric run out. He seems to hate selling anything from the machines at any point past quarter to 10. He once said to my partners dad that he couldn't get a lottery ticket because it was 10 to 10, when in fact you can get lottery tickets you just can't cash them. He's a very strange, rude, and arrogant little man with napoleon syndrome and he hates to pack things (as if he's too good to do so) for people, I've even seen little old ladies struggling with all their shopping because he just chucks a bag at them and lets them get on with it. his just the worst. so far I've not put in a complaint because i don't like doing that but honestly, his just pushed us all too many times, and at this point, I would actually be glad if he lost his job, , he really should lose his job his terrible at it and it's become a problem for those of us who depend on that shop. People just don't speak up for themselves or he would be long gone. but i've had enough of it, i have no reason to cover his bad behaviour up any longer and I shall not do so!

This shop has been amazing during the pandemic. Always so clean, friendly staff and good stock of food.
