There are many good Indian restaurants in the area, but Shafiques is a cut above the rest. I have had countless dine-in and takeaways over the years, and the food and service have always been superb.

Amazing atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes! I'm totally enticed on the quality of every dish that was presented to me. Thank you so very much, and keep up the authenticity. Shafiques has the best mango lassi. The main entrees(king prawn and tandoori mixed grill) were out of this world! Superb flavor and cooked to perfection. Hats off to the staff and wonderful owner! ??????? ????

Ordered from here once or twice in the past and it was good more recently thought it was bang average for £45 and only a couple of dishes. I want a lot more quality, for the kids korma was dry and homogenous like any other standard Indian and the lamb damask was also a bit dry and lacking depth of flavour. condiments were okay but I think I want a bit more for my money.

I have eaten in the restaurant in the past and was very happy with the food and warm service. I ordered a takeaway tonight on Deliveroo and the food that was delivered was not only bad but inedible! It is almost like all the dregs and old food that has been under the lights for a few days was slopped into the aluminium dishes and sent to my house! So disappointed that I will never order a takeaway from them again.

Went for a meal last night with my wife and wasn?t impressed. We have been many time s in the past and always had a very good meal. Last night we had to wait nearly an hour for our meal.When it did arrive it was tasteless and not up to previous standards.The drinks were very expensive for mediocre wine. The sauces and pickles that come with pompadoms seemed to be watered down. We won?t be going back any time soon which is a shame as it is very local to us.

Peviously we have rated the Indian food from this place very highly. This time we collected dishes for 6 people. I had chosen the most expensive Chef's Special. What a shock!! it was almost tasteless!! I had to use "pataks Lime Pickle" in order to give it an uplift. The following night my wfe made a quick, mild currye which was much better!
