SHOCKINGLY AWFUL!!
Phoned 4xs and spoke with different staff with wrong information.
Finally got an appointment for my daughter to open up an account for her. Was told to bring 2 forms of ID for me and birth certificate for my daughter. Paid parking, quickly got to worthing branch and met Jamaine L.. computer was apparently playing up so waited. Still wasn't working so she said what ID's do u have. She then said you need the other birth certificate with parents name on it not the one I brought!! I said I've spoken to 4 different people and know ones given us the correct information and now this!! Its a birth certificate and a lawful birth certificate, but nope, obviously needed the other one. So we just walked out!! Absolute terrible service and a complete waste of time!!

Deplorable customer service. Spent 45 min waiting yesterday for a very simple transaction which they were unable to resolve. Was asked to come back today. Told, same as yesterday, it would be a 15 min wait. Already 20 minutes waiting and no help on sight. SANTANDER get employees! It's no good closing all branches around and the ones that are still open don't have enough people servicing them. When your profits are higher than ever. Stop profiting. Get your act together!

Very surly cashier.I can't believe how rude this cashier was to someone who's banked at Santander for forty years. Now thinking of changing bank especially with all the two hundred pound bribes for switching.

Today we came to open an account in this bank.With my friend who is used to making gestures to talk, one of the bank employees, was waiting next to the receptionist to talk to her, maybe he found my friend a little effeminate, imitated his gestures thinking that I didn't seen, I find it very vexing and unacceptable, one thing is sure they will never see us again.

Visited Worthing Santander this morning to give change of address details for my mum and apply for bank cards. Straight away we were approached by Chris, who after asking the reason for our visit, took us into an office and amended address and arranged for bank cards to be sent out. He was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks Chris!

Normally excellent experience at my local Santander branch, but yesterday I was served by a staff member called Wendy , her attitude was rude and i feel she was abrupt to me. I've never come away from there feeling like that, I felt quite upset. If she was like that to all the customers they'd never come back. Not a great experience for me.

We recently opened up accounts for our boys. Matt at the Santander Worthing branch was very friendly and helpful, went the extra mile and made the process easy for us. The customer service experience was second to none, and we highly recommend the Worthing Branch.

Yesterday, although I have the app, I'm not confident to xfer etc. I went into your branch and a young man called sebastian dealt with my query, he went over n above, writing the process down step by step for me, what a pleasure to deal with some one that takes pride in his career and cares. Though all your staff tend to go over n above.

Unbearably poor customer service. Was told " tough, remove your cad". With a shrug, when requesting a credit limit increase. Have been with Abbey national/ Santander, for over 40 years. No more, have paid off credit card, and shall be moving banks.
