Over the last couple of months, we have used Palm Court regularly for coffees, snacks and lunch, on weekdays and weekends, due to the proximity of the hospital and (generally) good parking. It's an absolute gem of a place, the service is excellent as is the food....especially their Sunday roast. Haven't tried the cream tea yet, but they look incredible

We had an amazing afternoon tea here today, the selection was great, we had the standard at £17.50, which filled us up. Very busy, booking ahead is essential. The young lady that seated us, and attended to us, was very polite and friendly

4 of us went for a cream tea it was absolutely gorgeous the homemade cakes were delicious as were the scones and sandwiches and the staff were lovely will definately be back. also the venue was Besutiful great for parties etc especially the outside space

We had the all day breakfast, it was average. The mushrooms were over cooked and wrinkled. The toast was hard. But the prices were above average. How can anyone justify charging £3.25 for a can of lemonade? It was only 50p cheaper than a beer.

What a fabulous place. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had an espresso martini instead of prosecco. Very nice. We couldn't eat all the food as much as we wanted too ?

A good average lunch. Friendly service. Much too noisy and rather crowded in. Curtains or some sort of cloth might help to reduce noise

Visited today to celebrate my mum's 73rd birthday. Mum is recuperating from an operation and is wheelchair bound. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All our meals came out at the same time, food was great. Will definitely be back, cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

The afternoon tea was really nice and good value for money. The scone was definitely our favourite. The service was a bit slow but friendly. When it is warmer the marque area looks like a very nice setting for having afternoon tea
