Attended my second watercolour workshop with Jo Dowers. She is such a brilliant teacher. Jo patiently guides you through each stage to produce something that you can be proud of. The classes are relaxed and friendly in the bright area upstairs. I?m looking forward to another workshop. I highly recommend as good value for money and you really get lost in the moment.

I?ve just finished a four week linocut course . L arming different techniques , from jigsaw to reduction .I did it with my mum , so a lovely workshop to do together , or with a friend , but a few who did it alone & still enjoyed it ,I learnt so much . Melissa Birch was a great teacher .I definitely recommend her .The Gallery space was bright & spacious .Teas , coffee & biscuits was a nice touch .I left each week with a spring in my step .

This is one of the best galleries I have visited in Sussex ? I always come here to purchase birthday and Christmas gifts for friends and for me ? There are over 40 talented local artists and the work is varied ? from digital architecture prints, through to watercolour, screen printing, acrylic art, photography and jewellery ? in a range of contemporary styles through to more traditional work. There are gifts to suit all budgets ? from stocking fillers through to more expensive wall art and photography. I was recently given a gift voucher for my birthday and treated myself to a lovely necklace. The gallery is easy to find in Portland Road, which is opposite Marks and Spencer, about 100m on the right. Enjoy ?

I recently took my mum to see the new location of the Montague gallery. She was extremely impressed with the additional space that they have upstairs which is used for the many workshops they now offer, and is keen to take part in some of them. The gallery has a friendly, calm and relaxed atmosphere which is what I love about it when I visit. They have such a wide range of art and crafts on offer, there really is something for everyone. The best thing about it is that the artists work there themselves so you can often chat to them about their work and gain a better understanding of it.It is a fantastic place to visit when in Worthing and I highly recommend it.

Awesome experience of visiting the gallery on Christmas Eve. In an otherwise stressful shopping environment Montague Gallery was an oasis of calm with its friendly, welcoming staff offering complimentary mulled wine and the opportunity to browse unpestered and buy from local artists and makers. I was there so long they offered me a top up! A wonderful place to come in Worthing to treat yourself or find a present for someone and there's something for all budgets. They also have workshops in the upstairs gallery space. Can't wait to try a class!

Not worth going there. Nothing re Shops. Council spent thousands on stupid benches and pedestrianised presents.Horsham better by miles.

Not a bad place. Few different businesses to browse. Usually quite clean. Would be nice to have a few more shops, not just empty stores.
