Played 15th October in a four-ball and we were all very impressed with the course condition! The fairways and greens were superb.Nice old clubhouse and looked like lots of practice facilities.

I played on Friday on my own and the course is in fantastic condition especially the greens, the only downside was there was a 4 ball in front of me and they purposely wouldn't let me play through even though there wasn't anyone in front of them so needless to say I was waiting around for at least 13 holes. I might not be a member but I do like to play this course on a regular basis. There's no need for other golfer's to behave/act like this, whatever happened to etiquette.

Called in for Breakfast and it was fantastic! Clean and welcoming environment. Staff (particularly young girl with blonde hair) were friendly. Highly recommended ??

I was a member hear for a year and I would say it was up and down like the course, firstly the course itself was great especially as its one of the few courses that stay open year round. It is a forgiving course so if you not perfectly straight you can find your ball easily, the greens where always in great condition, along with the fairways as well.As a non member now it's a pricey course to play on the weekends. Slow play is very popular hear and you will be lucky to get a round under 4 hours and 40 minutes on the weekends no one ever lets any one play through even if you are a one ball.Club house is small and the pro shop is nothing special and expensive. The bar food is average and beers are averagely priced.The staff, some are really nice and there are a couple that clearly don't want to be there anymore, especially a younger girl in the pro shop that is incredibly rude with a narcissistically attitude, very unprofessional.

Attended this morning for a networking breakfast. Great venue, and the vegan full English was absolutely delicious. Dairy-free milk also available for the coffee

Love Hillbarn, Great staff especially the young lady in the golf shop so friendly always has the time to have a quick chat. Golf course in lovely condition groundsman are very good and work hard keeping the course in brilliant condition, well worth a visit ?

Golf course was in fantastic shape. The staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that the bar is card only shame when you have cash and no cards.

Amazing mountain biking trails, occasional gang war in the woods in the south of the course, had my spare shovel stolen after i hid it among another stash of tools that we found. Good overall experience

Played today, I must say that it was in the best condition that I I have ever seen it. I used to be a member there many moons ago, and it was never as good. Greens were quick and true and the whole course was tidy and manicured. Would definitely play again.
