Read & Totally get the bad reviews don?t think they understand in this branch that take time to park pay & use this branch both days cost me to get no real help the best advise was to use Lloyds which the helped straight away

Honestly had the worst service I think I have ever received. Went to the bank for two reasons 1) Change some Euros to GBP 2) pay said money and more cash into my bank account. Number 2 is easy as I don't need to engage with a staff member to do this as a machine can manage-thats fine. 1) is only difficult when I am told at the counter 'An alternative shop a walk away provides better rates so its better to change it there'. As I was in a rush I advised it was fine and i would prefer to exchange here so I can then pay in the money and be on my way. 'I will need to get the Manager'. Manager came out advising the same and when I said it was fine mentioned 'it will take a while here as we have to open the safe to get the money and put the euros away' followed by 'Did you actually get the original Euros from us?'- yes I did but why does that matter?!. At that point I realised why branches of banks are closing. I went exchanged elsewhere then went back and used a machine without needing to engage with any staff. Technically no need for a branch so my advice for Halifax is close this branch and just put a machine in a wall or vestibule, save on the salaries and pay me more interest on the account. Really disappointed and feel sorry for those who require a branch for support.

The staff of Halifax Fiona and Ashley are very unprofessional...they refused to admit that there was huge error in replacement card an pin code of my 86 y.o. dad's bank card, when he wasn't able to access his funds more than 3 weeks and after 3 visits to the branch no apologies was not received.

Worthing Branch. I have banked at the Halifax for a number of years and their staff are very helpful and always polite and hopefully they do not shut this Branch down as I visit this every week.

Incompetence reigns again! They seem not to be able to change my address, 3rd time today. While changing my address they managed to cancel my card! So now a week without card, can't buy anything online! Serious consideration to moving my account elsewhere.

Always found staff friendly helpful and professional here.. I have been with halifax after a recommendation several years ago and I have to say they are far better than Santander and HSBC..
