Closes for lunch 1-2pm Mon to Fri and 2:30-3:30pm Sat.
This is not listed online: not on the corporate website or Google maps, only on the shop signage.
Especially annoying as Google maps has facility to accommodate split opening hours which I have put forward as a suggested edit. This has been an issue for years.
Staff members are a mixed bag - some are lovely and very helpful while others are consistently rude and unhelpful. Zoe the pharmacist and store manager is brilliant.
Wait times can be excessive at certain times of day.

Went on my lunch break and I arrived at 13.00 but it was close which I forgot they shut every lunch time so was very annoyed and a waste of time and petrol. You need to update your website false advertisement

Opening hours are not true. This place closes for 'lunch' 12.30 to 1.30 last time I got caught out.

An analogue shop in a digital world. Must be the only shop in 2024 that offers a service but shuts for lunch.
Zero customer service from the dispencing staff, always 4 or 5 staff working but only 1 serving the customer.
Great place to visit if you enjoy queuing pointlessly

Busy pharmacy, but don't bother trying to call them, they never answer the phone. I've been waiting here in a queue for nealy 10 minutes now; the phone keeps ringing, but everyone is just ignoring it. Even the member of staff who had locked themselves out of the till and was waiting for someone to log them back in!

The staff working in this pharmacy are appalling. I waited 1 hour with small children for a prescription I was told would be 5 minutes. The staff all made eye contact with me throughout the hour so knew how long we'd been waiting. Not one shop assistant asked if they could help. If I hadn't approached them, who knows how long I'd have waited. We missed an appointment and the start of school because of their lack of care for their customers. They didn't even apologise when they realised what had happened.

Multiple members of staff are unhelpful. Have twice asked if they sell products and have been told no, only to see them in there the next time Ive been in. Today I asked for advice and was met with reluctant help by the staff member, who has sold me a medicine that I have now read I cannot take due to not having a certain diagnosis. Please train your staff to be more friendly and knowledgeable.
