Have new opening times now 7:30 until 5pm. No update on website or Google. Waited until 7:30 and still closed. No sign of anyone.

We visited on the way through to Brighton. At 9.30am on a Tuesday.
The sugar and stir area was sticky and dirty, the sugars were wet and stuck together and needed changing and re stocking
Three table areas we sat at were dirty and the floors were sticky
It looked like there had not been any cleaning done for a good few days.

Very poor standards. The staff work hard to do the best they can. I feel they are let down by Scoffs who seem to want to maximise their take and not invest in the site. Dirty old chairs and sun shade outside has been missing for >6months. Best avoided! ?

Waited at the till for ages and wasn?t served by the 2 young members of staff who were stood right in front of me, because they were too busy flirting and looked as if my presence was a nuisance to them!When we finally got served the girl rushed our drinks (made the latte in a rush, she didn?t even heat up the milk enough), the drinks weren?t worth the money.The staff were running around the cafe, screaming and laughing, felt like the manager wasn?t in. Won?t be returning as the drinks weren?t properly made and the staff were acting like children running about.

I was there last Monday and had the unfortunate need to enter the toilets. OMG!! They were worse than an old fashioned pub with the toilet visibly stained and paper strewn all over the floor...I appreciate one delinquent could have done this and perhaps the staff hadn't noticed but it was dreadful.....

Had a flat white and my daughter had a caramel frappe, the service was amazing 3 young people all working hard and delivering good drinks, the only complaint I have is with a fellow customer winging she couldn't bring her dog into the shop and being rude to staff that asked her to take dog back out, keep it up Brandon, Bella and Grace

Ordered and paid for medium oat milk cappuccino with no chocolate. Was given a normal milk cappuccino with chocolate. Unfortunately didn't notice until I'd left the shop. Good job I don't have oat milk because of being lactose intolerant, might have caused issues if I had.The person serving was working alone and had a queue so was under pressure.

I am only rating rhe coffee as that's usually all I have. I always ask for a warm flat white & clarify it by asking for it not too hot. (The correct way is not to serve it scalding hot because it brings out a burnt taste to the coffee & the milk no longer contrasts sweetly with the coffee). When I pay £3.85 for a coffee I expect it to be made properly & a flat white should have 2 shots of coffee. I'm tired of being given insipid, pale coffee, especially at the Storrington branch. It feels like I'm being short-changed or the baristas need proper training. This is a coffee chain, for goodness sake; they should be making the best coffee. One recent Sunday I ordered a takeaway coffee & requested it as mentioned above. When I sat down to drink it, it was boiling hot, too hot to drink for a while & it did not taste like coffee at all. I landed up pouring half of it in the gutter. I have discovered that a nearby pub sells a far superior flat white at a better price. Costa, you have become complacent.
