Mum made it very clear she wanted a simple no frills cremation. Tony and Phil were considerate and helpful which made the sad process much easier. I recommend this small privately owned funeral directors.

Nothing was too much trouble. They truly listened, accommodated every request, and supported us in every possible way.

Can we say thank you to both Philip and Tony for their understanding and assistance throughout this difficult time. They were so extremely professional, caring and thoughtful in helping us lay Mum to rest. We would happily recommend them to anyone, and it was lovely that having previously used them for Dad in 2016, they had the original Eulogy from his funeral and worked it well into Mums.
The whole service went off without a hitch and we are very grateful for their services.

Firstly I would like to thank everybody in the team for the excellent service and prompt communication. Tony and Martin are fantastic and very professional giving the best service, pricing and information. Philip who is the celebrant was equally fantastic covering everything during our service also collecting smiles of memories of our loved ones information. Philip's opening speech was perfect in every way. Immensely grateful as this company take all the pressure away in those difficult times of a loved one passing. The price was absolutely excellent for the professionalism of each team member. I would happily recommend this company during heartfelt times. Empathy was shown at all times. The company made our sad day a beautiful day.
To the checks, details and any information was outstanding. Always able to make contact with any queries or questions regarding the up and coming service. Such a fantastic team all working together and helping in every area needed. On point with any information needed. Every question answered instantly. I can't thank you all enough for making our day so beautiful. The care is outstanding.

I would like to thank Tony and Martin in the lovely way they handled all the arrangements in such a professional manor with the funeral of my beloved Carole. Whatever time of day they were always there to give us all support and guidance we needed at such a sad time. I would also like to thank Phil who was my Carole's chosen celebrant for everything he did to make the day go so smoothly and professionally.
I am now convinced that you only get this level of service when you deal with small, but very experienced, family owned funeral directors.

On the passing of our lovely Mum in late May, we were obviously distraught and the thought of arranging her funeral was extremely distressing and daunting.
Philip had met Mum a few times when he did the internment of Dads ashes back in 2008.
It was then that Mum said ?I want Philip to ?do? my funeral?.
So after the initial shock of Mum?s passing we contacted the office and after our conversation with Tony we knew she?d helped us to make the right decision.
From our first contact to our many visits we were treated with warmth and compassion.
Tony was fully understanding with our many concerns and our indecisiveness, but with his patience and guidance he helped us to make the right decisions with nothing being to much trouble.We were made to feel so at ease and the many discussions we had with Tony and Martyn really helped us through our early stages of grief.
Although we wanted to see Mum we were a bit apprehensive, but with their reassurance we were so glad that we did.
Mum was presented beautifully and looked so peaceful in the calming surroundings.We were so grateful that we were given all the time we needed to spend with Mum.Also when we decided we wanted a closed vigil, that too was also arranged and again we were given as much time as we needed.
When Philip visited the family home to prepare the service he too put us at ease straight away and with his calming and friendly manner, he helped us prepare the perfect funeral tailored for Mum.
He certainly did Mum proud on the day and we were so glad we were able to fulfil her wishes.
The service was absolutely beautiful and Philip?s personal touches made us smile and cry in equal measure, with everyone remarking on how lovely it was.
We would definitely recommend Philip Evans Family Funeral Services.
Although it was through such sad circumstances, it was a real pleasure getting to know them all, and we can?t thank Tony, Philip and Martyn enough on the way they helped us through emotionally and making Mums funeral so heartwarming and memorable.

We have a longstanding history with Philip Evan?s Funeral Directors as we have used them for all of our family funerals.
Most recently they arranged my wonderful mums funeral. Tony ensured that my mum was looked after while she was with them and assisted us in the full arrangement of the funeral.
All of the staff are compassionate and caring which is exactly what?s needed at such a sad and stressful time.

We used Philip Evans funeral for my dad who died a month ago. From the second I called them, they were so kind, helpful and honest. They treated my dad and my family with respect, care and dignity. I cannot recommend Philip and Tony enough. Their patience, advice and support were tremendous. I never felt things were too much trouble or seemed rushed in anyway. At a time of grief and sadness their gentleness was encompassing. Philip is everything you could hope for in a celebrant, tailored to your own requirements. They both made a very sad time, smoother and gentler.
