We often go to the restaurant at Shoreham M and S. The cakes and drinks are good. Staff are friendly and if you go when it is not too busy then you don't have to wait too long. But lately it has been too cold to sit for long. Uncomfortably cold. I think early afternoon maybe heating is reduced but we sit there with coats on and we are still cold.

I have visited this cafe a number of times at lunch time and every single time there is a very long wait as only two of the tills have staff. These staff take orders and also make coffee which makes it take such a long time. They rarely have jacket potatoes available as usually run out. Last time we visited they said the dishwasher was broken so they served all food in paper boxes. I had a jacket potato with beans and cheese and there were hardly any beans and it was very difficult to eat out of this box. The portion size was also about 1/3 due to this. They should have explained before I paid. I thought M&S standards would be higher. They need to employ more people and /or manage this cafe better.

We went to Marks and Spencer coffee shop for coffee and a snack. Slow wait in line to order then had to wait for the coffee to be made. Was very busy but managed to get the very last table available,

I was in store at 0810am today. The music was so loud, and absolute row to my ears.I approached one of the managers, nice young man and asked if I could make a comment, which was ? it used to be a peaceful shopping experience in here? and referred to the music. He replied that m and s is celebrating pride month and that is why music is louder than normal.I am NOT homophonic and that comment isn?t relevant. Can the music be delayed till after 9am? It puts me off looking round the store.Compromise needed please.

Had a quick pit stop here. Nice coffee and a very tasty lemon drizzle slice of cake. Average prices. Friendly service. Not busy but many tables needed clearing.

I was disgusted by what I saw today. I witnessed a young boy called Callum working his socks off and being treated terribly by the manager of the cafeteria. I really had to stop myself from butting in. She was speaking down to him like he was nobody and I could see the hurt in his eyes. She was complaining about tables not being cleaned on time. The poor boy could have not worked any faster if he tried. He was practically running from table to table. This woman was opening verbally abusing him. Out of sheer principal I will not be going to that Shoreham M&S ever again. I have spent thousands upon thousands in M&S over the years. Well that's the last time they will receive a penny from me. I will be letting all my friends and family aware of this too. I regret that I wasn't fast enough to record it.

Jenny was brilliant, running around grabbing clothes and even went as far as advising me on suit sizes; and even recommended someone who could take up the sleeves slightly for me!\\n\\nNothing was too much effort for Jenny \\u0026 the Ben was very polite \\u0026 attentive too once we got to the till too!\\n\\nBrilliant service, thank you!

Disgusted.\\nManikins have changed from white to black and small amount grey. Surely would it have been better to have a mixture of all ,for the sake of of all, this lack of thought only causes adverse comments.\\nJust for the record, i am far from racist as we are equal as human beings and more thought should have been exercised in this. It only serves to give certain individuals ammunition when mischief making.

One of the few shops apart from Lidyl where there was no music and it was a PEACEFUL shopping experience! I did mention it once and the reply was ?you are not the first person to complain?-What is wrong ,particularly 0800am when it opens to just be quiet and enjoy looking and get what you want in peace.Another member of staff said it was for the staff. The food is good but not impressed with clothes .

As a regular user of the coffee shop, I have become disallusioned with the standard of care and service in the Shoreham store. When last in there tables were not being cleared and cleaned down due to the fact there was only 1 assistant both serving the food and clearing the tables. Although being a premier member we no longer use the coffee shop. R. Hemsley

As a regular in the cafe every now and then I get so dismayed at the total disorganisation of the cafe, I wish they would focus on the customer, open more lanes for ya to go to and speed up the long process of getting a mere cup of coffee. Please bring back the free little biscuit, Covid is not a good excuse, they can be in a dish and the server use a pair of tongs. If only they could get a decent manager to organise the cafe it could be so good. Last moan was the cafe door was locked surely if they was a fire that would be disastrous! Oh dear, please try harder M&S.
