No staff to open to cabinets waited 20 mins being told bare with went else where never a problem at Brighton nothing but rudeness and lazy staff here avoid like the plague this is my 20th time walking out with nothing only wanted a iPhone headphone cable and couldn?t get it as locked behind a dumb cabinet Tesco straight in and pay done easy. Just brought a baby car seat.Daren who served us was absolutely amazing.Although the shop was really busy,he still made time to explain how it worked ,and even found time to help fit it.Maybe if more people were like Darren, more people would want to go back.Its not always about how cheap items are .I think good customer service is just as important ,especially if you want customers to return.

I have had to visit Halfords 4 times recently. A chain that repeatedly fell off, a puncture in the back tyre and a defective derailleur. I can't thank enough the bike technician at the Shoreham branch of Halfords! He is excellent! So efficient and helpful and considerate, patiently answering all my questions. A huge thank you to him!

Russell may have come 9th in the world lawnmower championships but he is 1st in customer service. Yes, they had the tyre which helped hugely, but this was a potential emergency being far from home and they were close to closing which was all a stress for me, but he was calm, friendly and lifted the mood! Amazing service and very grateful. I highly recommend!

I recently visited Halfords to purchase a bike and was disappointed with the service I received. Despite requesting to try a medium size, the staff member insisted I was a large and only allowed me to test a different brand in that size. While the alternative bike felt acceptable at the time, I later arranged for my partner to collect the large frame in the brand I originally wanted from another Halfords location, as it was the only store that had it in stock. Upon bringing it home, I found the bike to be far too tall for me and extremely uncomfortable to ride.

It?s no good having click and collect if there is no one to serve you.
I do understand that the government is discouraging employment with its draconian taxes, but having no one to serve is ridiculous.

Had a great experience at Halfords Shoreham. My car failed its MOT on Monday lunchtime due to a suspension issue. Tony, the branch manager, was incredibly helpful and clearly explained the repairs needed. The team managed to source the parts, carry out the repair, and retest the MOT, all by 5pm the next day. Really efficient service and excellent communication throughout. I?d happily recommend them.

The team there are friendly and efficient. I always go there to have small items fitted, this time it was a brake light bulb and it was all sorted within minutes of my arrival at a very reasonable cost.

The website for Halfords is so slow it just takes far too long to order online, browsing is cranky and menu selection poor and very slow, I could walk around the store twice and find what I want faster than online ordering. It has been this way for a long time now!
screen freezes and timer spins, same on phone or PC, come on Halfords, sort it out. The store is OK so rated higher than online.

Customer service is horrendous.
Majority of the staff can be great, but the other day 1 ruined that.
I have bought a wiper, did not need it fit for £7.99. If you ask me thats disgusting that its even that price when it takes about 30 seconds to do.
However when I fit the wiper, it went on okay, then whilst in use, it snapped and started slapping around my windscreen.
I took this back to the store and showed them where it had snapped and how.
To be accused of breaking it myself and he then tried to pressure me into paying 7.99 for him to fit it... i do work on cars and have rebuilt motorbikes for 15 years... I do not need an unqualified shop assistant to fit a wiper blade.
Neither do you argue with a member of public regarding the fault of the item.
Shouting at me across the store that they can only be broken by being put on incorrectly... failing to realise it was just a faulty part. It happens. I just wanted a replacement and I come very peacefully and calm.
The way he acted was disgusting. Put it this way, if he had spoken to someone like that, outside of the store, it probably wouldn't have ended so nicely, but I am a bigger man than he will ever be and walked away.
I do not appreciate someone trying to tell me something is my fsult without having any idea at all and I certainly don't like to be made to look silly infront of other people.
Oh and funnily enough, the replacement I attached and it has worked perfectly fine. So the first one was a faulty part. Learn to do your job you special little boy?
