Normally a great pub to go for some great food, but as of recently the quality of food has dipped quite drastically.
The staff are fantastic however. I hope the food recovers but still great for music and drinks.

Wonderful service, I didn't stay for food but have been there before and loved it. The room was small and the floor was very creaky and it felt like the wardrobe would fall on me walking past but this did not happen and obviously this was what you would expect staying over a busy and lovely pub restaurant. Furthermore the decore was lovely and a little car park was a great bonus given the location.
All in all a very practical and lovely place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a convenient place to stay if visiting the local area and expecting to be out for most of the day.
Next time I'll leave an updated review of the (always delicious) food.
Update 2025: stayed here again for a family funeral and I have to say the staff took care of us incredibly well and accommodated dietary requirements seamlessly and with genuine care. The food was outstanding for the price and their willingness to go above and beyond to support our grieving family is commendable to say the least.
Rooms: Small, window air-con won't work if the window is open (which is a great idea) and floor feels creaky. Very modern and comfortable.
Food and drinks: Great food with good value and ability to accommodate dietary requirements even at short notice. Didn't ask about cross-contamination for coeliac so double check, but as a wheat sensitive individual I had no problems with their gluten free food.

We ate here on two evenings whilst staying in Selsey. It?s certainly the best pub for food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Delicious fish and chips with the crispest batter ever.

We had such a lovely lunch at The Seal - we had to come back for dinner on our last night of the trip!! Staff are so friendly and welcoming, as well as the food being delicious. We would most definitely come back!!!!!!

Came in 5 mins before kitchen was going to close. Thankfully the staff were really nice and allowed us to order food. Nice garden with play area for the kids while waiting for food.

Food and drinks: Visited for an evening meal. The staff were friendly and good service. The food was delicious, fresh and cooked well. Smoked haddock tart with new potatoes, salad and salsa Verde and Pork and vegetable pie with vegetables. Desserts were also wonderful, Eton mess and rhubarb crumble. Highly recommend dining there.
