Recently went in to purchase a Hamster. I have had hamsters before and they?ve lived to good ages. The lady who served us was trying to sell us a cage that was far too big. Told me the cages I?ve used before are only suitable as travel cages nobody would us a cage that size as a travel cage you?d purchase the small travel boxes. Saying she?s not happy selling us a hamster in a smaller cage was ridiculous given the signage says they are suitable. Maybe this staff member needs more training.I felt like she way more interested in selling an expensive cage. As said I?m very experienced with keeping hamsters and they?ve always lived to good age and had a loving happy home. Also Worth noting when to the Bognor Regis store purchased a Hamster and the cage I would normally use with no fuss. Suggest the above mentioned member of staff is retrained.

Their live food is always pretty disappointing. I've been in 3 separate occasions and I don't believe they are frequently checked like they would their fish in the mornings. The packets of hoppers usually include many long dead, or ones that have moulted beyond what the box says (4th instar, but 2 hoppers in the box with very large with wings and the rest dead). The wax worms have been entirely moths on another visit in a few boxes suggesting they havent replaced that stock for a while.I've given the benefit of the doubt a few times, but now think I will use Pets Corner in Rustington for live feed going forward.

Easy to get to and park. Large bag of bird food is much cheaper than elsewhere.

Was really impressed today. My hamster recently died at the old age of 3 and a half. After months of grieving i decided its time to share my heart again with another hammy..not only do the staff now know about what size cage is minimum for the hamster but giving advice and selling only cages that are best for the animal and not selling a hamster unless you have correct care..its beautiful to see this finally and the staff were amazing..keep it up

Our puppy loves coming to the Rustington store where he can often meet other dogs and view the small animals for sale. There is a wide variety of accessories for dogs, cats and other animals and an almost bewildering variety of food and treats on offer. It's great to find so much under one roof and there is plenty of room to park outside. As an added bonus you can also visit the vet here. Recommended.

Big pet shop - it sells pretty well all I need for dogs and cats. Dog grooming is very good - our dog always liked going there.

I think PAH Rustington have the nicest staff, they?re always so friendly and helpful. Even when they?re extremely busy they have a little chat while they?re serving you, and if you can?t find something they?ll take you to where it is.The vets are fabulous. I?ve been to a lot of vets over the years, and I can highly recommend Jose and Jose (confusingly, there are two, luckily both are excellent). They?ve always been extremely helpful in some very difficult situations. They also understand that many people don?t have a lot of money these days, and that with multiple animals it may not be possible to insure them all, and will tell you what?s really essential and what is an ideal case scenario, so you can budget accordingly. I find this very kind and helpful, when your pet is sick of course you want to give them the world, but it?s not always possible. I also put money into my account whenever I can, I have too little money to save, I always dip into it - so this is a brilliant solution for me. The girls on the reception at the vets are so lovely and kind too, as are the vet nurses, I can?t fault any of them. Julie is the only one who can cut the claws on my crazy Bambi, she sings to her and does a brilliant job! I highly recommend these vets, having experienced others in the area I think they?re the best. The shop itself is well stocked and competitive in pricing.I used to use the groom room before my old dog died (which was handled by the vets here with great sensitivity and empathy) and that was also brilliant.

I think I've found a New Therapy Centre that's just fantastic, it's called Pets at Home 'Rustlington' where really nice members of the public bring along with them their own personal Therapy aids. There was the cutest young walking rug and a very friendly young black Labrador. I was there to get what would be needed for a new kitten who's arriving from France on the 6th Feb. I needed everything thing from food bowls to a litter tray a big shop needing a lot of stuff and I was expecting a big bill but the lad on the till looked at all the kittens new bits on the trolley and he suggested that I might like to join their loyalty program before he put the shopping through the till. A few minutes later the App's on my phone and I saved £12.25 with the 10% discount and the Therapy session in the store was a free bonus.
