Looked a nice pub, so went in on Sunday about 2.15 average amount of customers eating and drinking but unable to serve us with food no reason given

Food & drinks: Had a delicious lunch with family who were staying at the hotel. Service was really friendly and efficient. The food was freshly cooked and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I can only comment on the bar and restaurant which were spotlessly clean and full of character.

Stayed overnight ,friends came for dinner with us,food was really good, breakfast superb,my friend suffers with a nut allergy, they took it very seriously and where helpful ,double checking the ingredients, wonderful service ?Rooms: The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean

Always have amazing food no matter what we have - especially love the pie! The landlords Martyn and Lyn are very friendly. We also stayed here for a night of our wedding in 2022 and the rooms were lovely (and breakfast too).

We had a fabulous stay. Not only is the food (and beer) outstanding but the owners and the staff were really friendly and went above and beyond. Honestly, I would come back for the pie alone (which is 10/10). We had a great stay - our room was fab and the breakfast delicious. We will be back for sure.

Came just for food one Saturday and we're lucky there had been a cancellation.The food was really lovely. Starters about £7.00 and mains £13 - 17Not an enormous menu but one of those menus where you would happily choose almost every dish. Can highly recommend the cheese fondu starter and pie of the week, an amazing deep filled steak pie.Very friendly service, nice traditional pub feel and good beer too.Will be back

This pub, is the best one I have eaten in,in a long shot.The staff are friendly and welcoming as is the atmosphere.The meals are reasonably priced and nothing is ever to much trouble.We as a family return here for birthday's, lunches and dinner out.?????Food & drinks: ?????

This is a beautiful pub with rooms. The food is lovely, breakfasts are amazingly good cooked to order so arrive hot. The couple that run this pub are lovely! This is what makes it different from anywhere else, the people are the most important bit and this couple run a very clean establishment, decorated well and lots of interesting things to look at in the bar! I loved the stay, they could not do enough for you. I felt so happy being there, the pub garden is lovely and cheerful with lots of flowers, it?s just nice being there!
