Lovely staff. Rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. Bed pillows good. Nice working shower. Only staying one night. Would absolutely recommend The Angel Inn.
Rooms: Low ceilings in the hallways but Ok in the rooms. Quite a few stairs. Staff very kindly carried our luggage to the rooms. The food looks and smells good but we haven't tried it yet. Free car park..parking not that easy in Petworth so this is a bonus!

Had a small wedding party & venue could not have been more suitable. Staff superb especially Anthony.
Rooms: Old world. Beds very comfortable.
Walkability: All amenities & shopping very close.

Food and drinks: Really great meal and super service. Beer choices were excellent, local brewery ales, and good choices of keg IPA and lagers. There was a big group of us and everyone got what they prefer and it came to the table hot. I will be coming back soon! Cheers

Really disapointing visit. No chilled Pinot, run out of chunky chips to go with the fish and chip meal so had to have fries. And an very salty cheese cake where salt had clearly be added instead of sugar. Staff very appologetic but no refund offered. Expected alot more from its 4star rating. Real shame.

Wow wow wow. We had the most amazing set menu Sunday lunch here, every single dish was superb. Kept going back for another slice of the utterly divine pecan pie.
Service was fantastic, lovely atmosphere, sweet enclosed garden, unbelievable value for money and absolutely superb food.
Will definitely be making the 3 hour round trip to eat here again, it really was that good!

Can?t fault this place.
We turned up on a Sunday without a booking and they accommodated us. We sat in a beautiful garden and all enjoyed a two course meal. All staff we encountered couldn?t be more helpful and the food was divine.
We will be returning.

Outstanding service. Very nice menu, specials and bar snacks especially, good food in a location with limited restaurants. Pulled pork tacos were very nice and tender, guacamole was nice not sure on freshness. My mum very much enjoyed her sea bream however the seafood linguine in my opinion lacked a bit of flavour, very oily however scallops were cooked beautifully and same with the prawns.
