Oh goodness, where to begin.Do I make accommodation for someone who lacks competence and customer service? and believe that someone must hire them out of the goodness of their heart. And why is it that in the most lovely tiny town, all of the post offices resemble Ahmedabad's Juhapura? It's bad enough that the service is so poor; it took 26 minutes this morning to process two little items by a female who plainly takes no pleasure in her appearance and is uninterested in the client and the cause for her visit to the post office. I hoped that with time, this post office would become more efficient and helpful, The only consistency at this post office appears to be a hatred for customers and service that is little more than a begrudging grunt.

At least we have a Post Office in Petworth. And the staff are very good.

Staff are good if it?s open, but have given up trying now, it seems to be closed by 1pm most days? So you can?t do banking or post things in a lunch break, I now drive to midhurst, the post office is open till 5pm with post office staff, or the garage staff can process it and send the next day until 10pmIt would be sad to see petworth loose the facility but honestly, it?s so unreliable I probably wouldn?t notice. I don?t understand how they can run as a business.

This Post Office is a joke! The postal service closes whenever the staff feel like closing it and sometimes the whole shop is closed... I've given up on the place and go to Midhurst instead... at least the services there are reliable and the staff actually smile! This comment is not referring to the postal delivery staff who do an amazing job!!

All right helpful staff but unfortunately can't deliver a newspaper because of road closure in Duncton. Well it's quite strange because others can but not them, we got our mail delivered what the problem to deliver the newspaper???

If you want to step back to 1974, go into this backwater dive and experience examples of truly terrible customer service. The guy behind the counter even upset my wife. AVOID and go somewhere, anywhere else.

Maybe I am just really unlucky, but nearly every time I have tried to use this post office it is closed for various reasons, from refurbishment, to staff illness or unforeseen circumstances or closed early, or the post had gone early etc etc and they wouldn?t keep a parcel overnight because they were not insured. The list of reasons and excuses seemed endless..So I eventually gave up even trying to use this branch.. Today I needed to send a parcel and was also going to Petworth so I thought I would give it a go again, as surely that lot of disasters must have all been just a glitch? Nope not a bit of it...now only opening between 10am and 2pm and I was too late. I just wish it was a reliable branch, but it really isn?t, so I will not bother with it any more.
