New owner driving the business doing all the right things IMO. A little more attention to detail please. Refresh the dirty menus, get it a little warmer please and whites need to be white. At this price point I expect sliced roast ham joint, local eggs and local bakery muffin. Cooked the poached eggs well and made the best of the Ingredients no complaints. Staff in good happy spirits, keep it up and we will be back again. Interesting building on several levels with steps so go prepared. Not as good as expected from pictures on internet. Would go again as they are trying very hard.

Such a lovely little cafe!!Me and my husband were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The cafe decor is very charming and suits the area well.I had a jacket potato and my husband had the soup and toastie. Great value for money as everything tasted so fresh.Definitely recommend and will be back to try more food. Brilliant service

Went out for lunch with a friend and found this wonderful little cafe. We got a really warm welcome from all members of staff when we walked in and great service and advice of the days special?s. Food was out of this world and definitely worth every penny. Can?t wait to visit again!

Have been to this tea place twice since under new ownership and the service is very efficient and friendly and the cakes are made by the owner and are delicious. Highly recommended.

Since moved to new management at Christmas 2023 the atmosphere is fabulous, welcoming and lovely staff.Food was perfect ?Happy to recommend and will definitely be returning ?Parking: Large local carpark at the rear very easy to park and close by.

What a lovely little cafe as soon as we entered we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff. The cafe was very busy however member of staff came over to take our order. Food arrived very quickly very impressed. We ordered jacket potato came with salad and the most incredible coleslaw. My husband had the soup and half toastie. My daughter had cheese and ham toastie. We really enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. My daughter played with the wooden kitchen. Was made to feel very welcome and will definitely be back again. Looking forward to trying the red velvet cake which I got to take away !!

What a great find !!Freshly prepared food, great portions, lots of local products used. Homemade cake and knowledgeable helpful staff.Has garden seats and welcomes dogs.... and sells sweets and fudge too ??

We stopped off for scrambled egg on toast on the way back from a weekend break and loved its cosy atmosphere and friendly hosts. The tea was served in china cups and saucers which was right up my street.

Lovely little coffee shop, we were a party of 6 and they happily moved some chairs so we could sit together. Scones were fabulous and tea and coffee really good.

Our lunch was ruined by a group of mature locals that were really loud and were being racist, which they found amusing. My partner and myself could only eat half of our lunch as couldn't stand to be in the same building as these people. When told the staff they just shrugged their shoulders. Well will most definitely will not be returning there !

The queue at the national trust petworth house cafe was long and there was nowhere to sit, it was noisy and not much choice of food left, so decided to go out into the town to find somewhere to eat... Found this gem only a 5 minute walk away! Great little Cafe, delicious food, peaceful, and better value than the national trust Cafe! Staff were friendly and welcoming.
