Everything was really good food was really good served with amazing considering I wasn't supposed to get what I got on a different day but they honored it anyways which was really nice it was a little bit busy hard to find a seat but overall very good

Very slow service. Wec waited over 2 hours to eat and they still got the order wrong. They didn't allow for any money off . Why is the waitress dressed in leggings and trainers? The attire totally reflected the poor service we were given. It's a shame as the atmosphere is great and the food isn't too bad ( although the jollof rice was far too spicy and the plantain was over ripe and dripping in oil). If they could sort out the service, it would have been a much better experience.

Very friendly pub, a cup of tea was no problem at 4 in the afternoon especially since the Knepp Estate cafe was closed.

Haven?t been for a long time but it?s looking very tatty and we rushed our drinks to leave as the smell of chip fat was completely over bearing. They were practically venting the kitchen through the pub. You could see a haze everywhere. Had to strip off when we got home as we all stink of chip fat oil. I hope they sort it out as it has the potential to be a lovely country pub.

the layout has two split bars that cut the atmosphere in half which is a shame, the place feels cold and uncomfortable which i think is the cold lighting. remove the bar room divide and it would not only improve the atmosphere but help to get spotted when trying to get served. staff were polite, locals seemed perfectly friendly and partridge green is a nice little place.

Came for lunch whilst walking in the area. Food was excellent, served on hot plates and came promptly. However the whole place is very run down with mish mash of tables and chairs. Seriously needs some cleaning, care and refurb but food and service were second to none.

A very personal visit. I went on my own to watch the Brighton match on their TV as I don't have the channel at home. Friendly staff while I enjoyed a drink, a burger and a cuppa. I always feel I should depend a tenner if I watch their TV. Excellent burger at a reasonable price.
Parking: There's a small car park and free off street.

I have just been treated to a lovely lunch by my son for Father's Day. We both ordered the roast beef which was excellent. Very friendly service from Rachel and her team. I can thoroughly recommend this great pub to others.

only popped in for a quick drink when passing. But very friendly staff and drinks well priced, with a very good selection on pumps to suit all tastes. Will definitely pop back in to sample the food which looked good and very well priced
