My husband and I stopped in here one afternoon for a coffee, tea and my husband had a slice of their Victoria sponge. The service was excellent and very welcoming and my husband was raving about the Victoria cake. The next day we went back as we wanted to see the tide in. We went back to the cafe for refreshments and were welcomed back like old friends which really surprised us as we hadn?t been there long the day before and because of the amount of customers they must see everyday.A lovely place to stop and watch the world go by with excellent service and a friendly welcome. If we ever go that way again we will definitely stop by

First visit to Bosham on a dreary day, but pleasantly surprised with a nice walk and lunch at the Shoreside Cafe.We were lucky enough to drop in for lunch at the right time when they were serving what can only be described as the perfect roast pork bap on Earth. Big, tasty and with a side of perfect salty crackling. Chunky pork, apple sauce, and stuffing. Awesome!Kids had a proper butchers cut smoked ham sandwich, and a super thick filled egg and cress sandwich. We will be back! ?

My wife and I went for a dog walk with Ada, our black lab. We called in to the Shoreside Cafe for a bite to eat, and we had a great curried cauliflower & potato pasty with a side salad and to finish off a flap jack with custard which the member of staff very kindly put the custard into two dishes as I explained we wished to share. The taste of everything we had was absolutely devine, we will going back for a bite next time we visit Bosham word of advice go early as it gets very busy, unsurprisingly.

Perfect hot drinks on a very cold December day. Tea, hot chocolate and an oat milk hot chocolate all served lovely and hot in a nice cosy cafe on a bitterly cold day. Lovely.

Nice cafe location which is dog friendly. Coffee and cake for the wife and a very tasty lamb pastie for me. Down side is the disposable cutlery which is being dealt with apparently. We also found it a little cramped inside with tables close together. Worth a try

What a shame -tasty coffee and cake but in horrible 'compostable' plates and cups -totally spoils the taste of the coffee . To claim its a takeaway is very misleading as we walked around the area for an hour and saw nobody walking out with food. Its a sit down cafe with lots of inside seating -there is nowhere to sit in the area to eat your meals If you were to take away. Its a cafe that realises its cheeper not to wash cutlery leading to lots more waste! In the summer these plates/cups ,with plastic lids would be taken away and would be dropped in local bins/left on the side/chucked in the water where they would not be composted as it requires specific type of procedure. I love your food but you need to go back and buy a Dishwasher -It is obviously not a proper takeaway as there are too many inside seats ! If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck -its a duck -(Or in this case a Cafe) which cares more about saving money than the planet.

Nothing like it used to be ? took my 95 year old dad who wanted to go down memory lane. Only high stools to sit on ? and nothing to eat which wasn?t cooked pastry?

Great little cafe with friendly service and one of the best Meat and Veg pasties I?ve had; the pastry was crisp and there were actually quite a few chunks of tasty beef - not filled out with veg & gristle! Victoria Sponge was just the right size and the cappuccino was very good, Nice spot overlooking the quay? Missing for us was: - more menu choice such as paninis - Tuna Melt etc. rather than just sandwiches. - when eating in (and paying quite a high price) I?d like to have a metal cutlery and crockery plates and cups?

Great coffee, service and views. Dog friendly, lovely walks along waterfront. Cakes look good but managed to resist. Well done all.

Just popped into Bosham since quite a while and had a Cream tea at the Shoreside. Great little place right on the water front, the tea was safe with both the clotted cream and jam in sealed pots. Scones were very yummy.

We have been going to this cafe for many years. Looks like it's changed hands since our last visit . Food was OK, but why is everything in disposable packaging? Tea never tastes the same in single use cups. Conpostoble - Even thr suppliers only claim the packaging is compostable under certain conditions. I note they recommend it's not landfiled. I think we all know a high proportion of this will end up there. It's a shame the single use plastic ban allows these loopholes. Surfice to say I will not return until there is a change in policy. There are other options near by that provide a better service with reusable plates, cups and cutlery
