It's our local community hub. Lot's going on throughout the year and we'll supported. Eclectic variety of sports, beauty, coffee shop etc all on offer. Library too. Parking is excellent . Always clean and staff helpful and deliver good customer service, with a smile.

Decent enough gym although slightly dated.Main problem is the influx of school children who i presume have free membership who hang around the equipment looking at there phone/themselves and messing around.

The sale held here was well worth a visit, but .... here we have a modern building , community and leisure centre with no air conditioning ridiculous. Or do they only put it on for certain events?. It was so unbearably hot in the main sports hall.??Buyer beware??When buying refreshments ,Ingredients aren't listed on individual items so there is a risk to anyone with allergies.they do not display their price list or individual prices of items. At least if they do, it wasnt on the board behind the counter or anywhere obviously visible. Only 3 specials were advertised at £3.85.A Small coffee is 2.95 and a panini is 6.20!!! This is extortionate . Costa and Starbucks are far cheaper and better quality!!!!You only find out the prices when you pay for your order. This is a trading standards issue. Not only that, they do not accept cash !!!!Not everyone has a bank card . This needs to be considered. Maybe if they took cash as payment the refreshments would be cheaper ?Food prep and hygiene. The paninis were supposed to be served hot, however they were only lightly toasted and the food inside was only slightly warm and still chilled in places. The cheese was not melted at all, not as I would have expected a toasted panini to be. This is unacceptable when heating a food it should be the correct hot temperature to avoid food poisoning, especially as some of them had ham inside. There is also cross contamination risk as I observed the same knife was used to cut the meat ones and the vegetarian ones. I did not see a valid food hygiene rating displayed and environmental health would be very interested to know about the food prep here. The food was sub-standard considering the expensive prices charged.Disappointed

It?s not bad for a local gym but there are far too many PTs. On occasion there can be 5 PTs using multiple parts of the small gym and the kit. It?s far too many. A couple of them use multiple machines/stations at a time and it?s becoming more and more frustrating. There is only one! rack and this often used by a PT, there is only one bench press too. There are only two benches and they are most often in use.I?m not a fan of complaining but it just gets worse. The gym is very crammed and when you have 5 PTs and their clients, that?s already 10 people in the weights area.

As centre's of leisure go, this one has the big halls, squash courts and a gym. It is a smallish gym that can get busy and it is probably time for some equipment upgrades. The cafe is downstairs and times of opening are on the attached photo. Also to note that there is an attached library which may be staffed, depending on time of day.
